(i) Part-II is to be attempted on a separate Answer Book.
(ii) Attempt ALL questions from PART-II, selecting ALL questions from SECTION-I and ALL
questions from SECTION-II.
(iii) All the parts (if any) of each Questions must be attempted at one place instead of at different places.
(iv) Candidates must write Q. No. in the Answer Book in accordance with Q. No. in the Q.Paper.
(v) No Page/Space be left blank between the answers. All the blank pages of Answer Book must be
crossed.
(vi) Extra attempt of any question or any part of the attempted question will not be considered.

WARNING: Unattempted questions will result in deduction of 2.5 marks each.

SECTION-I

Q. No. 1. Urbanised localities in developing and developed world are under direct threat of Smog. What is meant by

Smog? What are the causes behind smog? How can it be controlled? (5)

Q. No. 2. (a) In the following diagram, the triangle represents mothers, circle represents Teachers, and the rectangle stands

for women.

(d). In the first test of General Science & Ability at Civil Services Institute, Students are given two sections.
Section-I carries ONE question and Section-II carries ONE question with FOUR parts. Total time allowed to
solve the test is 40 minutes. If a student spends 15 minutes on Section-I and 2.5 minutes on thinking about
why he/she came to appear in this test, how much total time and time for each question will be left? (5)
