1. Title: Air Quality Monitoring Device Using Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN)
Based on Arduino Microcontroller, Bluetooth Technology, and Radio
Frequency(RF)

Significance: Seeing this wonderful device in action everywhere may raise

awareness about the current situation of air pollution in Antipolo and prompt
individuals to act in their own unique ways to slow down, or even possibly
prevent, the deterioration of the atmosphere of the planet. Data collected by the
device from different places can be later examined to make sound decisions and
analyses about the state of air quality in the area.

Objectives: this study aims to:

1. Obtain the mean values of the three trials measured by the invented device
and the standard device with respect to Carbon Monoxide (CO), Carbon
Dioxide (CO2), LPG including Butane and Propane, Methane (CH4), Hydrogen
(H2), Nitrogen Oxide (NO), and Dust Participles; and

2. Determine if is there a significant difference in the mean values of the gases

measured by the two devices?

2. Title: Assessment and Construction of Soil-based Battery Using the Iron-rich Soil of
Antipolo
Significance: The researcher believe that this study is deemed significant to the
following:
 Developing Communities
 Teachers and Students
 Future Researchers
Objectives: This study is done to assess and construct a soil-based battery using the
iron-rich soil of Sitio Cabading, Anipolo, which mainly aims in getting more information
about the uses of our soil. This soil is also sought to answer the following questions:
1. How much soil is needed to light up a 20-watt bulb?
2. Is there any difference in using two different oxidants (water and hydrogen
peroxide) in terms of the wattage produced by the battery?
3. Is it more effective (in terms of lighting the 20-watt bulb) to use a different soil
sample than the original soil sample in Barangay Cabading?
3. Title: Extracting Bioactive Compounds of Snake Plant (Sansevieria Trifasciata)
Leaves by the Process of Phytochemical Analysis to Get Its Antibacterial Effect Against
Legionella Pneumophilia
Objectives:
1. How much L. pneumophilia content was eliminated with the use of bioactive
compounds extract from Snake Plant (Sanseviera trifasciata)?
2. How does the L. pneumophilia react with the bioactive compounds?

Significance: The research study assesses the possibility of eliminating L.

pneumophilia through the bioactive compounds of snake plant leaves. Hence, if this
study will be resulting to positive, then it would be significant to the following:
 Community
 Teachers and Students
 Future Researchers

4. Title: Rescue Hand Drone

Significance:
 Rescuers
 Humanity
 Government
Objectives: The main objective of this study is to help the rescuers and make
operations safer and more efficient. Therefore, in able to assure that the Rescue Hand
Drone is capable of rescue operations the following questions must be answered:
1. Is this study durable enough to withstand extreme amount environments?
1.1 Too hot
1.2 Too cold
1.3 Too windy
2. Is this study capable of doing rescue missions?
2.1 Bomb disposal
2.2 Combat search and rescue
2.3 Confined space rescue
5. Title: In Vivo Cytotoxicity Evaluation of Crude Extract from Heartleaf Hempvine
(Mikania cordata) Leaves to Brine Shrimp (Artemia Salina)
Significance: The results of the study will be of great benefit to the following:
 Future researchers of cancer drugs
 The community and the Poor
 Farmers and Gardeners
 Promotes environmental care
Objectives: The study aims to answer all the questions that is form to prove the validity
of the study:
 What specific phytochemical property does Mikania Cordata possess that reacts
with the brine shripms?
 What is the specific correlation between the number of brine shrimps that are
killed to the formulation of the crude extract?
 Did the formulation have any effect on the brine shrimps?
