McDonalds and Pizza hut. These kinds of restaurant is preferred by people who are looking
for quick bits in their busy schedule. Millennials lining in tier 1 and tier 2 cities usually prefer
such restaurants. Accordingly we can identify various segments.

Based on the above segments, I feel that Taco Bell should target millennials initially in order
to increase market penetration. Particularly they should focus on college going millennials. I
feel that this is the most attractive segment in terms of reach and profitability. These college
going millennials have limited budget to spend and therefore are on a constant lookout for
affordable food solutions. They experiment with different restaurants and look for quick and
convenient solutions. Since they also consist of large population staying away from home,
they search for different restaurants to satiate their hunger at odd times. They hang out and
party with their friends a lot in shopping malls and movie theatres and prefer these quick bite
restaurants.
