I personally have no need to waste my limited time in that abyss. Besides he is 1 0 times smarter than I am. Others have countered his provocation when written in Forbes blog. My sense is that he is enlivening the critics of affordable housing by igniting th © ever low burning feud over the high cost of production to gain support at the st ate level to kill mandatory inclusionary housing as emerging in Seattle. The city is still working te find accommodations for the small builders who do townhomes a nd infill who are his primary remaining supporters. That said, if you want to take him on let us know how we can help. I may be wrong but defer to others I have including in this message who might have a clearer perspective. ‘THANKS Marty Original Message----- From: Al Levine [mailtozal.levine@live. com) Sent: Tuesday, April 25, 2017 6:25 AM To: Marty Kooistra Subject: Roger Valdez Hi Marty I know you are very aware of Roger's posts but I still think they need an occasio nal response. I fundamentally agree with him that the cost of producing All is ridi. culous. The problem is that most of the public does not understand why it costs what it do es and I think allowing him to make his comparisons without responding risks serio us pushback. I'm still in France until next week but happy to discuss if you care to. Al.levine@live.com 206 953-8058 (call or text) WSHFC_VAL2-002782
