SEI Progressive Cavity Pump offers solutions to your

details, computerized modeling, quality materials and the
use of state-of-the-art manufacturing methods to give
these pumps and their replacement parts superior

CONCEPTS FEATURES & BENEFITS

The SEI Progressive Cavity Pump centrifugal
pump is a positive displacement pump. It can be
used for weighted / un-weighted water-based
and synthetic-based mud
The main components of the pump are a rotating
part (Rotor) and a stationary part (Stator). The
rotor has a single helix shape and is normally
made of a metallic material. The stator is formed
as a double-helix with twice the pitch of the rotor
and is normally an elastomer. The interference
(compression) fit between the rotor and stator
creates a series of sealed chambers called
cavities. When the rotor turns inside the stator,
the medium moves continuously from the inlet to
the outlet of the cavities.
