I am thrilled that you will be in my class this year!

We
will be learning so many new and exciting concepts together.
This is my seventh year of teaching and my third year of
teaching Kindergarten.
I am very passionate about being an educator! I love
seeing students grasp a new concept! I think that it is very important to not only work
collaboratively in our classroom but with parents/guardians as well. It is my job to help
students learn and grow into respectful, lifelong learners.
A little bit about me: Teaching is my true calling! I am originally from the great
state of Michigan, 711 miles north of Oxford, North Carolina. I moved here 4 years ago
August to be with my incredible wife. We have been married just over two years and
have had the pleasure of having our first child, a baby boy, named Kevin in June of 2017.
So I am a new parent! I have one younger sister named Arielle. Family is super
important to me. When I am not in the classroom, I am usually outdoors. I love hunting,
fishing, and anything out of doors. My other hobbies include reading, playing guitar,
drums, or bass, and building or doing construction (as that is my other career).
