Grading
Tests/Quizzes = 50% There will be 5-6 tests/quizzes per semester. Test corrections are expected for failing
grades of 69 or below. There are NO individual retakes. Be prepared for each test reviewing notes and
assignments. Take advantage and attend tutoring sessions.

Classwork = 50% Class starts promptly after the bell, so students will need to be in their designated seat.
Students take notes as the teacher goes over lessons/objectives each day. Notes MAY be allowed for usage on
some Quizzes. There will be classwork every day in class.

Phones (electronics)
Cell phones are not permitted to be out during lessons without permission.

Student Responsibilities/ Classroom Guidelines


1. Follow all rules specified in the ET. Wrenn Handbook
2. Attendance is important. If you are absent, it is your responsibility to get the assignment
3. The tardy policy is as follows: students are to be in their seats before the tardy bell rings.
4. Students must be ready to begin classwork assignments. That means no excessive talking, sleeping,
or not having out proper materials.

Steps taken after a student chooses to break a rule


1. Student- Teacher conference/verbal warning
2. Verbal warning/ parent called
3. After school detention/Telephone call or note to parents/ Time out or seat change
4. Office referral
*Major misconduct incidents will be referred directly to the discipline office.*
