Company Profile

PFC Consulting Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation Ltd.) provides quality end
to end consulting solutions to the various stakeholders in the Power Sector like SEBs, Unbundled Power
Utilities in the field of Generation, Transmission and Distribution, SERC and IPPs etc. It has also been
entrusted with the work of Ultra Mega Power Projects (UMPPs) and Independent Transmission Projects
(ITPs) by its parent Company PFC, which is the Nodal Agency for UMPPs by the Ministry of Power,
Government of India.

The company is presently handling consultancy assignments worth about Rs.100 crore and is also handling
10 UMPPs and 3 ITPs. The company is also carrying out assignments on organizational reforms and
restructuring of power utilities, regulatory affairs, etc. In order to discharge its functions more effectively,
PFCCL is looking for dynamic individuals who have a commitment to excel and thrive on challenges and
who can effectively contribute towards the Company’s growth.

Work Profile

To assist, carryout and/ or Advise on:

Preparation of proposals for consultancy assignments, making presentations to clients,

marketing and making efforts for obtaining new assignments and commercial activities
including follow up on invoices, payments etc.
 Preparation of various documents, filling of forms for obtaining approval, clearances
from statutory authorities, agencies etc.
Coordinating and supervising the work of sub-consulting organizations.
Coordinating and following up with, clients, power utilities, various Central and State
Govt. Departments and/ or Ministries, Agencies for activities like, but not limited to,
obtaining clearances, linkages approvals etc.
Attending review meetings called by clients, Govt. Departments etc.
Progress reporting to Head Quarters
Any other work as may be assigned from time to time

The work would involve frequent touring and traveling within the Country at various locations of
consultancy assignments, project sites etc.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification
B.E./ B.Tech. or equivalent in any discipline of engineering from a recognized
University/ Institute. Preference will be given to individuals with Post Graduate
Diploma in Management (PGDM) or equivalent in Finance/ Marketing from a
recognized University/ Institute.
or
Economics/Commerce Graduates with Post Graduate Diploma in Management
(PGDM) or equivalent in Finance/ Marketing from a recognized University/
Institute.
or
CA/ ICWA

Age : 22-35 years

Preference will be given to individuals with 1 to 10 years of post qualification experience in power/
infrastructure sector

The individual should have good communication skills and hands on working knowledge on Computers.

Locations of Deployment : Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Mohali, Patiala,

Ranchi, Raipur, Ahmadabad/ Baroda or at any other place in the
Country depending upon work requirement.

The selected individual(s) could be placed at any of the locations mentioned above or moved from the
original location to any place within India at the discretion of PFCCL management.

Remuneration

The consolidated remuneration would be in the range of Rs.28,000-50,000 per month depending upon
suitability of the individual. The duration of engagement would initially be for a period of 1 (one) year (as
per the terms and conditions of engagement), which could be extended depending on the performance
and work/ task requirements.

1. Empanelment
The applications would be processed and the suitable individual(s) would be empanelled
with PFCCL as Advisors.
The individual(s) could be asked to furnish additional information, if required.
Empanelled individual(s) only would be informed regarding the same within 15 days of the
last date of receipt of applications.

2. Personal Interaction
Suitable individual(s) according to the requirements, out of the empanelled ones, would be
called for personal interaction at Delhi or at any of the mentioned locations, depending
upon requirement(s).
Empanelled individual(s) called for Personal Interaction would not be paid TA/ DA or any
other expenses incurred by them for the purpose of such interaction.

3. Appointment as Advisor
The selected individual(s) would be appointed as Advisors and could be Located anywhere
in India depending on work/ task requirement(s).
It may be noted that any follow up by the applicants with any official of the company
through any means of communication will not be entertained.
