Cox Families,

Thank you for a wonderful school year! We had a lot of changes and everyone was extremely supportive and helped out in so
many ways! Thank you to all my parents, my PTA, and the SOT for the additional support you provided my staff and school
throughout the year! Have a relaxing summer and we’ll see you in August! Remember to keep reading all summer!

DMC Parent Survey Results: Families, there were 265 yellow surveys returned to school, thank you to those who sent their
in. Your input is important. The winning results are as follows:
• 141 voted to keep all procedural systems as is.
• 182 voted to keep the campus currently as is (closed in the morning/open after school).
• 221 voted to have Open House/Meet and Greet on same night.
• 200 voted to keep PTA meetings at 6 pm.
• 233 voted that they would be able to fund up to $25.00 for supplies should the budget be cut.
• 212 voted to keep certificates only for first semester and a final honor roll assembly at end of the year.
• 202 voted to move the Weekly Newsletters to completely electronically ALL year.

School Information:
• If we don’t have your correct address – you will not get your list until August and you will need to come into the front
office to get your student’s teacher supplies and assignment
• All “leftover” items from students have been donated to community charity
• The office is closed beginning 6/21 – 7/26 and reopens on 7/29
• The office hours will be 6:00 am until 12:00 pm beginning 5/28/19
• SBAC Test scores will be sent to school sometime in July
• Our bell times will remain same for next year with campus opening at 8:55 am, line-up at 9:05 am, tardy at 9:10 am

Fun Run Kick-off: Our PTA will be kicking off their annual fund raiser, the Fun Run in August. Watch for fliers coming
home on August 20th.

challenging with such a small student count to draw

Sept 01 Labor Day – no school for CCSD could donate extra supplies you might pick up for

tissues, paper towels, glue sticks, white board
