FAQ: Upgrading TDA’s LPR software version

1. Need to connect to TDA using PC Maintenance Console via USB or RS232.

2. Go to Utility -> File Transfer from PC to PBX (SD Card)

3. Then browse to select the LPR file to be transferred to PBX and click open.
4. Next click OK to continue the transfer process.

5. Once the transfer is completed, go to Slot -> Select the card(s) to be upgraded and
OUS the card(s).

6. Go to Utility -> SD Card File View and Load

7. Locate the file named P---- (eg. PESLC) and click Detail button

8. Select the card to be upgraded and click the view button to show the card’s
current LPR version on the right screen
9. Next click the Load button to start upgrading the LPR version for the selected
card

10. Once completed, click ok and you can notice the card has been upgraded to the
newer LPR version. Click cancel twice to return to main screen for SLOT and
INS the card(s).

11. Repeat step (8) to (10) for other card of same type/model or repeat step (1) to (10)
for other models to be upgraded.
