Objectives:
1) Find people to interview
2) Improve public speaking (mainly speak slower when presenting)
3) Improve on writing annotations and not doing them Monday nights
Journal​:
I have already finished with one of my classroom presentations in Mrs. Chamness’ class

and she liked it very much. However a constant fault in my presenting skills is that I speak too

quickly. When I get nervous, or I feel too much of any sort of feeling, I speed up a lot. It’s hard

to fix especially because I don’t realize I’m doing it unless someone tells me that I’m speaking

too quickly. I think my projection is fine, due to the fact that I’m not used to using flashcards, I

get nervous (a little) and that might have an affect on my speaking speed. I’m also becoming a

more knowledgeable about my topic and I have gotten to the point where I’m deciding which

specific branch of my topic to focus on.

I feel like the start of second quarter is good for me, because now I know how to study

for all of my classes and it should run smoother than first quarter (hopefully). I know that this

second quarter in IR will be primarily focused on the research paper and I’m preparing myself to

not procrastinate. However, I feel like I definitely will procrastinate, because that’s just the kind

of person I am.
