Environmental degradation is caused by human and industrial activity such as carbon emissions from factories, mining, and deforestation. This deterioration of air, water, soil, and ecosystems through depletion of resources and pollution has led to the destruction of coral reefs, marine biodiversity, and the melting of ice caps. As a result, sea levels are rising and droughts and floods are increasing. If this degradation continues, it threatens the long-term sustainability of Earth and its ability to support humanity. Technological solutions like carbon taxes and geoengineering aim to reduce carbon emissions but balancing economic needs with environmental protection remains a challenge.

deterioration of the environment through depletion of resources such as air, water and soil; the destruction of ecosystems; habitat destruction; the extinction of wildlife; and pollution. This is hastened by the industrial revolution which is the emergence of technological effeciency. It is cause by human and industrial activity. This includes carbon emissions from factories and powerplants, mining, and deforestation. Which resulted to the destruction of coral reefs, marine biodiversity, melting of ice caps which will be the cause of the rise in water levels in the ocean, droughts and floods. It also question the Earths sustainability. While we continue to degrade the earth to supply our needs and wants can the Earth continue to provide for us or the future will be gone beacause of what we take for granted. It questions whether our economy or environment comes first as priority but this dilemma is both to be taken care of. There might be technological fixes dealing with technological issues like carbon tax, carbon neutrality and geoengineering which might help with the reduction of carbon emissions.
Realization:
I realize that we should consider both the economy and the
government for our advancement. We are a superior beings we must make a change and start around us. For example we should use less plastic bags, throw our trash properly, reuse, reduce, recycle and be advocates of a greener globalization. Let us not let our advancement become our Earth's downfall or else as we continue to exist the Earth will slowly perish. It is sad to imagine watching the colors white, blue and green turn brown. We must do something to save our planet, because its heartbreaking watching places, things, animals, plants and people perish like a distant memory.
