This is another way to learn the metric system from milli to mega (as opposed to
kilo down to milli);

▪ Just learn five exceptions i.e. - Hydrogen (1), Beryllium (9),
Nitrogen (14), Chlorine (35.5) and Argon (40)
▪ Rest you just take atomic number say n. If n is odd, then mass
number is (2n+1) and if n is even mass number is (2n).
▪ Say N = 8, Oxygen, Mass Number is 16
▪ Say N = 11, Sodium, Mass Number is 23
