come up with a concept premised on
facing our deepest fears - playing against
your teammate.

be given and none taken as friends
become temporary foes for 90 minutes.
LESIKA, RE A GOLA
Madimo-a-Ball was formed in 2011 in Phase 2
via a merger of Babakima and Galacticos,
drawing from a pool of mates from varsity. The
team has grown from being a bunch of
whipping boys who just wanted to play football
and socialize, to being one of the most
organized, progressive and talented social
clubs in Gaborone right now.
 TECHNICAL
TEAM
Coach Leo.
One of the founding members
of the team, Leo has been
tasked with operating the team
from the sidelines since
formation. He has overseen
some of the greatest Madimo on
the pitch moments, lest of all
the transition from being poor
plodders to serial winners.

Coach Kitso.
The Professor. Often seen
barking instructions from the
touch lines, this is a stickler for
perfection. Even with the game
4 nil up, Coach Kitso stalks his
players relentlessly, imploring
them to play according to his
instructions.

One of life's little pleasures,
at least for me, is to be part
of this great family. I have
been privileged to captain
this club for over a year
now and everyday presents
its own unique challenge,
the most being the need to
stay relevant and making a
change in society.

Despite our on-field

successes, im proud to
know that we are mindful
that first and foremost we
are part of civil society and
come from different
communities. To a larger
degree, we all have a role to
play in making our societies
better places to live our
dreams and Madimo Day for
us as players is one such
canvas in which we paint
our dreams.

The team's all time
leading goalscorer
since he joined in 2015.
A talented marksman
who can dribble, head
and shoot with both
feet and a predatory
eye for goal. More than
his goals, Zola is
legendary for coming
up with crucial goals in
pressure games.

The epitome of what
the team is about.
Tough, slick,
committed, gounded
with a ridiculous strike
rate, coming from
midfield. Over and
above he remains an
excellent football man,
both in mind and on the
feet.
Because of his
versatility, expect to
see him playing centre
forward when the team
needs a goal or two.
And expect him to
deliver each time.

A stable pair of gloves is the bedrock of

any success and our glovemen have been
at the forefront of same. With our high
intensity and high press game, we
sometimes get caught upfield but thanks to
our trusted last line of defence, we have
always triumphed. Big ups to you guys!

We wish to thank everyone who has been with us since

this club's inception. We havent always been perfect but
we have always found a way to keep reinventing
ourselves. Big ups to the young ones who took over the
mantle from the older group and kept the fire burning.

Having been away on study leave for almost over 2 years now, the king is
back!

On a slightly serious note, Mpa's social media presence, savviness and

classy creativity has been the engine behind our online presence and
growth.
