Father, I have to thank You for looking beyond our faults

and for loving me unconditionally. Forgive us when we

fail to love others in the same way. Give us the eyes to
see the needs of the difficult people in my life, show us
how to meet those needs in a way that pleases You.

Every time and place, God beyond our dreaming, we pray

for wisdom as we prepare to vote in the coming election.
Give us a Parliament committed to the priorities of your
kingdom, so that peace, compassion, truth and justice
may prevail among us

help us not to lean on our own understanding but in

everything acknowledge You so that You can direct our
words, thoughts and actions. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
