Without Experience
By Mark Anthony Llego on January 5, 2018
Dear Ma’am;
Please consider this letter as my intent to apply for a teaching position in your established institution.
I was told by a friend that you are looking for Science teachers for the opening of school year 2018-
2019. Given my qualifications, I believe that I am qualified to teach in your school.
I graduated with honors last March 2017 from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila with bachelor’s
degree in Secondary Education major in Science and passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers
in September 2017.
Though I haven’t had a teaching experience yet, I believe that I am ready to take the responsibilities
of a teacher as I have already equipped myself with skills and learnings which I have gained through
the series of lectures I attended in the graduate school and in the different seminars and trainings I
attended in the past.
I chose to submit my application in your institution as my colleagues told me that you provide a very
good opportunity to your teachers to hone their skills and to improve themselves by participating in
various professional development workshops and trainings in and out of the school. I also did a little
research about the schools here in Marikina and your school appears to be the best in most aspects. I
believe choosing what is best can bring out the best in people like me who want to improve
continuously.
I am hoping that you will give me an opportunity to have my first teaching experience in your
reputed school.
Thank you for considering my application. I am waiting for your positive response.
Sincerely,
Jan Camille B. Llego
Applicant
