Sub: Delay in reporting of candidate for Induction Program organized for B. Tech first year
students, owing to chicken pox infection.
Dear Sir,
This is to inform regarding the delay in reporting of candidate, Ms. SONALI SURYA, for
Induction Program organized for B. Tech first year students. She has been allotted
Electronics & Communication Engineering branch for B. Tech at Silicon Institute of
Technology, Bhubaneswar based on JEE Mains Rank. However, as she is infected with
chicken pox which is highly contagious, it would not be possible for her to report as per the
prescribed schedule.
This letter is being written as a request to kindly allow her to report after she recovers from
the illness which shall take around 10 days. It is understood that she shall be missing some
part of the Induction Program because of her medical condition, however, she shall strive to
remain abreast of her batch apropos of the course curriculum as soon as she gets well.
As a local guardian, I have completed her admission formalities and the fees has been paid
in full. One document pertaining to anti-ragging affidavit and uploading of photograph is
pending which may be done when she is medically fit for reporting at the institute.
