Debuted on December 5, 1943 in the Kispesti Athlétikai Klub of Hungary in the
forward position
With the selection of Hungary he won the Gold Medal at the Helsinki Olympics in

In 2006 he was named the Best Hungarian Footballer in history.
In 2009, FIFA awarded the Puskás Prize in his honor, being awarded to the player
