1. GENERAL

This methode use for excavation in all kinds of soils, back filling, and scraping to
describe the sequences and requirements of this work in this Project

2. SCOPE

This is to assure that the requirements of excavation, back filling and scraping follow the
standards, contract specifications and client requirements. To obtain good workmanship
and safety in all activities .

4. CONSTRUCTION METHOD

4.1. Excavation
Excavation and loading will be done by Excavator. Excavated material will be loaded
by Dump Truck go to the designated area or disposal area.

4.2. Back filling

a. Selection and loading of backfill material at the stockpile area and / or
desidnated place.
b. Hauling of backfill material from stockpile area and / or designated place.
c. Spreading of backfill material in layers.
d. Compacting of backfill material in layers.
e. Moisture control.
f. Final grading after backfilling.

4.3. Scraping
a. Stripping and removing of topsoil.
b. Loading and hauling of tripped topsoil to the stockpile area or final disposal
area.
c. Removal of contaminating matter, such as trees, branches, stumps, roots and
grass.
d. Grading, sloping, compacting and other relevant work for proper stockpiling,
whether temporary or permanent.

5. INSPECTION

The inspection control points shall be same as per the control diagram in the Quality
Plan .
