INTRODUCTION

LIC Housing Finance Ltd. is one of the largest Housing Finance company in India. Incorporated on 19th June 1989 under the Companies Act, 1956, the company
was promoted by LIC of India and went public in the year 1994. The Company launched its maiden GDR issue in 2004. The Authorized Capital of the Company is
Rs.1500 Million (Rs.150 Crores) and its paid up Capital is Rs.850 Millions (Rs.85 Crores). The Company is recognized by National Housing Bank and listed on the
National Stock Exchange (NSE) & Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE) and its shares are traded only in Demat format. The GDR's are listed on the
Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

The main objective of the Company is providing long term finance to individuals for purchase / construction / repair and renovation of new / existing flats / houses.
The Company also provides finance on existing property for business / personal needs and gives loans to professionals for purchase / construction of Clinics /
Nursing Homes / Diagnostic Centres / Office Space and also for purchase of equipments.

The Company possesses one of the industry's most extensive marketing network in India : Registered and Corporate Office at Mumbai, 6 Regional Offices, 13 Back
Offices and 130 marketing units across India. In addition the company has appointed over 1352 Direct Sales Agents (DSAs), 7085 Home Loan Agents (HLAs)
and 777 Customer Relationship Associates (CRAs) to extend its marketing reach. Back Offices spread across the country conduct the credit appraisal and
administrative functions.

The Company has set up a Representative Office in Dubai and Kuwait to cater to the Non-Resident Indians in the GLCC countries covering Bahrain, Dubai,
Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Today the Company has a proud group of over 10,00,000 prudent house owners who have enjoyed the Company's financial
assistance.

11-03-2010: LIC Housing eyes banking licence

LIC HF, which has raised Rs 15,000 crore this year, is looking to garner Rs 20,000 crore in the next fiscal to keep up with the level of growth.

LIC HF's scrip closed at Rs 787.70 on the BSE on Wednesday, down 2.99 per cent from the previous close. SO, LIC HFL wants to enter in banking sector .

From the above table and information we see that company’s share prices are increasing day by day. The company is earning profit and it is also giving dividend to
its share holders at good value.

This co is good than other companies in case of earning profit. That’s why their share prices also increasing.
ANALYSIS:-
From the above table and chart we conclude that the sensex was good at april 2005 but after april2005 it start decreasing in the month of October 07 to jan08 it was
decreasing and after march 2008 it again increases from july08 to April 09 it was at highest point. This time it is fluctuating some time up some time low.
