Hammer Assignment

After finishing the lofting tutorial, I went and changed the circle on the third plane to a square
that was 100mm high and 110mm wide. This changed the front of the hammer heads shape and
gave the loft a twist in the hammer head. I also increased the distance between the plane to
40mm.

After altering the front of the hammer head, I started created the nail puller sketch. To do this I
created another front plane underneath the actual front plane. I placed the top of the sketch
60mm away from the origin. The width at the top of the sketch is 36mm the lengths 155mm and
the bottom width of 110mm.
After finishing the sketch, I made a cut extrude through the loft. Making the nail puller part of
the head of the hammer. This was my completed design of the head of the hammer.

After finishing the head of the hammer, to create the handle I created three more top planes. The
first top plane was 33mm above the top plane, the second was 300mm under the top plane. And
the third was 400mm below the second top plane.
After creating the three new top planes, I created three individual circles on each of the planes
that started at the origin with a diameter of 57mm. I then connected the three circles by the points
on opposite side creating a curve in the handle.

After I finished the handle, I places chamfer on the top and bottom circle of the handle with a
radius of 5mm.
That was my last step. So, I the last thing I did was change my material on the hammer and
extend and rename everything in the design tree.

This is a drawing of my hammer.
