1 Description
This firing head is used to detonate the TCP guns and open the vent at the
same time in TCP.

3 Preparation before using and tools
3.1 Preparation
Check the product before fitting.
3.2 Tools
Nipper, screwdriver and nose pilers should be prepared
4 Delivery states and mount program
4.1 delivery state：
Detonator( HQBQ1-1) is packed single; mounting the detonator in
well field。
4.2 Mounting program：
4.2.1 Calculate the quantity of shear pins according to depth of well,
temperature and liquid density of well.
4.2.2 Unscrew upper sub from lower sub.
4.2.3 Move out redundant shear pins from the shear assembly according
to 4.1.
4.2.4 Install O-ring 2-232 (φ76.51×3.53) into groove of middle sub,
coating silicon grease on them.
4.2.5 Unscrew plug screw from lower sub by nose pliers；
4.2.6 Install detonator into lower sub. (Notes: red end of detonator
downward)
4.2.7 Screw the plug screw into lower sub by nose pliers
4.2.8 Screw in the upper sub into lower sub.
4.2.9 Screw the stop screws into upper sub by screwdriver.
4.2.10 Install O-ring into groove of lower sub, and coating silicon grease
on them.
4.2.11 Lower end of the device connects with guns。

5 Inspection
Check thread and fitting surface ,no bruising ,no rusteaten.

6 Maintenance
Protection the thread and overlay o-ring and thread with lubricant
grease or silicone grease.

7 Attention：
7.1The detonators are required to be stored in the special storehouse
where the pyrotechnics is stored.
7.2No severe collision allowed during transportation.

7.3The storage life of the products is five years.
7.4This product used to be packed with wooden box (Inside it is packed
with paper box), in the box ,there are product certificate、packing list
and so on。
7.5Detonatoris packed singly。

APPENDIX: Calculating the Quantity of Shear Pin

1. The depth of firing head is h（m）, the pressure actuated firing head is P
P=ρ×g× h （MPa）
ρ—The ratio of liquid，g—0.0098
2. Confirming that the temperature of place where the fire head locate（℃）
3. Look at the chart, shear valve reduction percentage is δ
4. Look at shear pin certificate, the shear valve is S0/pin.
5. Calculate the shear valve in well,S=S0×（1-δ）
6. The quantity of shear pin：
n=（P+ Psafe）/S
Usual Psafe =7MPa (Reference value)
Calculate the min-integer N that more than n.
N is the quantity of shear pin
7. The pump pressure is P pump
Ppump = (N ×S)－P
