MANAGEMENT ASPECT
3.1 Objectives of the study
• To determine the appropriate form of business organization in
establishing Four Season
• To determine roles, duties and responsibilities of each personnel within
the business
• To determine the requirements and qualifications of each recruit
• To determine the process of employing the business’ personnel
3.2 Management Description
Management is the act of getting people together to accomplish denied
goals and objectives using available resources efficiently and effectively.
It comprises planning, organizing, staffing leading or directing and
controlling an organization (a group of one or more people or entities) or effect for
the propose of accomplishing a goal.
Management is a problem solving process of effectively achieving
organizational objectives through the use of efficient use of scarce resources in a
changing environment.
Management is the power leader of the business. It is the source of
regulations and decisions in the firm’s matter which guide the personnel towards
achieving the goals and adjectives of the business. With every decision that
should be made on whatever matter concerning the business. It is the
responsibility of the management to carefully analyze things and come up with the
best solutions and alternative solutions. Strong management serves as a
motivation for the personnel of the business to work hard and perform their own
duties. It is also the managements responsibilities to uplift their personnel’s moral
and develop their capabilities to be of good use for their improvement of the
business.

3.3 Process of Securing License and Permit


Legitimately instigating a business naturally involves securing a business
license. In addition, building own site, expanding an existing site or modifying the
building permits are needed. A business license aids the local government keep
track of business’ tax obligations. Permits consent work to do be done. Having the
right permits and licenses should be done before running a business or else it
may end up operating a venture without a license which can be punishable under
certain business laws. Conforming to the government’s rules on establishing and
legalizing a business, one must have to be aware of the following list of process
of securing permits and licenses in the Philippines.
1. Acquiring Occupancy Permit, documents that signify that a building
surveyor is satisfied that the completed building work is suitable for occupation.
2. Getting a Barangay Clearance/Permit, a certificate states that the
business complies with the requirements of the barangay where the business is
located.
3. Attaining a Mayor’s Business Permit, businesses have to secure a
Mayor’s Business Permit or the Local Government Office where their business
are located and operated.
4. Registration of business’ trade name to Department of Trade and
Industry (DTI Business Name (BN) Registration Certificate), it gives the power to
use the registered business trade name for business operation. It also protects
the business name against being used and registered by other business
establishments.
5. Record-keeping of BIR Certificate of Registration, any business
must be registered with the Bureau of Internal Revenue to comply with the
Philippine.
3.4 Form of Business Organization
The business CRIDD Company is a Corporation. A corporation is a
organization when six or more person bind themselves to contribute money,

property, or industry into a common fund, with the intention of dividing the profits
among themselves, ( New Civil Code, Article 1767).
The business well start with the total capital contribution of Five Hundred
(Php 1,000) Irish Castillo will serve as the Owner of the company where she is the
one who will set the direction for the values of the company, develop its product
and service strategies and set the tone for its relationships with customers.
Dianne Acuzar is designated as the Manager whose duty is to perform
functions like planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling. All these
functions are essential for running an organization smoothly and achieving
enterprise objectives. Diane Caspao, Crissa Maula, and Rehnjosh Mina are the
staffs in the business.

The figure above illustrates the organizational structure of the business,
Four Season.
The proposed business used a line to show how the business will flow. In
this type organization the power of command always remain with line executive
and staffs structures helps to identify set of guidelines for the people directly

involved and completing the organization work this type of structure combines the
flow of information from the line structure that advice and support them.
3.6 Duties and Responsibilities of the Personnel

A. Owner

An individual who is responsible to set the direction for the values of the

company, develop its product and service strategies and set the tone for its

relationships with customers. The owner is initially responsible for all of the project

risks, as it is usually the owner’s decision to execute the project or not.

B. Manager

Manager is a person responsible for supervising and motivating employees

and for directing the progress of an organization. Also the one who needs to make

a check and balance between all the employees. Her duty is to check the current

company performance and remove the upcoming problems to new business.

An individual who is in charge of a certain group of task, or a certain subset

of a business. The manager is the one who need to motivate the team and create

a balance between all employees. Their duty is to perform functions like planning,

organizing, staffing, directing and controlling.

C. Staff

The one who needs to take customer feedback about the product and

create changes according to them. They welcome the customers take orders,

receive cash and serve product to them. They need to deal with customers calmly

and politely.

3.7 Qualification of Personnel


A. Manager

Must be graduate of four years course in business administration and other

related course. Possess a good moral character. Also have a leadership skills,

experience and is able to handle different difficulties concerning business.

Better than average written and spoken communication skills and have a

knowledge of the functions, operations and mission of the specific department.

B. Staff

Must at least be a high school graduate. Exhibits exceptional

professionalism with handling the customers.

Must know how to maintain confidentiality of information. They should have

the ability to translate complicated technical problem for the average customers.

Willingness to work from alternate share locations when need and also prioritizing

time management and organizational skills. The most important is must possess

a good moral character.

3.8 Hiring Process and its Requirements


The following are the steps used in selecting personnel: should passed the
Preliminary Screening, Employment Interview and Examination, Background

Investigation (resume), Final Interview, Selection Decision, Physical Examination


and lastly Placement in the job.
The proposed business will provide job opening by posters and flyers in
the Municipality of Bauan, Batangas. The application are required to submit the
following: Transcript of records diploma, Resume, Certification of Eligibilty, Birth
Certificate or NSO, SSS, Phil – Health, Barangay NBI Police Clearance, Pagibig,
Medical Test and TIN.
3.9 Salary Compensation

The following are the salary plan approved by the management

1.The personnel would be given paid time off such as sick days and emergencies.

2.The personnel would be receiving benefits such as workplace perks like food,

coffee and flexible work schedules.

3.The personnel would be attending free monthly check-ups.

4. The personnel would be given clothing allowance.
