EVENT DESCRIPTION
A live mad-ads competition with puns, punches & parody that will tickle your funny bones in
more than just one way!! A lot of exciting prizes to say cheers to! And the best part? Entry is
free for all!
Venue: Lakeside, Orion Mall, Bangalore
Date: 18th November 2018
Time: 2.00pm – 4.30pm

FORMAT OF THE EVENT

This is a group event. It will be conducted in two rounds:

1. Prelims | Online Screening – A video of your previous Mad-Ads act or your final act has to
be sent to samiksha.20@tapmi.edu.in for registration. Based on the video sent by you, we
will be shortlisting 8 teams who will move on to the next round.

2. Final Round | Live Performance – Finalists for the event will be declared on 13th November
2018. They will proceed to perform the same act at the final round in Orion Mall on 18th
November 2018.

clearance)

RULES & REGULATIONS

 Prelims – ONLINE SCREENING

1. Participants need to send link (WhatsApp/ Email samiksha.20@tapmi.edu.in / Google

Drive link etc.) of any previous Mad Ads Act OR record a new one of minimum duration
of 5 mins and maximum duration of 8 mins
2. The team size for the prelims should be minimum 05 to maximum 09.

3. The participants need to ensure that the content is free of obscenity/vulgarity/ abusive
language.

4. The best submissions shall be shortlisted by 13th November 2018

5. The shortlisted teams will be sent an invite via mail by 13th November 2018 to attend final
round on 18th Nov 2018 at Brandscan 2018 at Orion mall, Rajaji Nagar, Bangalore

6. The shortlisted teams will send their final round performance pre-recorded audio clip (if
any) to event SPOC via Whatsapp / Email samiksha.20@tapmi.edu.in / Google drive link
by 15th Nov 2018

7. If there is any change in the number of team members then the same must be
communicated at least two days prior to the event to the SPOC.

 Final round : LIVE PERFORMANCE

1. The shortlisted teams have to report at the event venue for registration at least an hour
prior to the event (1:00 pm on 18th Nov, 2018)

2. Slot preference will be given on first come first serve basis.

3. Pre-recorded audio (if any) should be submitted in mp3 format two days prior to the
event via Whatsapp/ Email / Google drive link etc. to the SPOC.

4. Maximum two mics will be provided per team i.e Maximum two members will be allowed
to be narrators.

5. The performance should be of minimum duration of 05 minutes to maximum of 08

minutes including the setup and stage clearance.

6. The team size can be of minimum 05 to maximum 09 including the narrators.

7. Allowed languages: English and Hindi

8. Any form of obscenity, abusive language, violence, defamation will lead to immediate
disqualification.

9. Use of props is allowed, except flammable items and abusive substances.

10. Participants are responsible for their props and belongings (if they bring any). The same
needs to be cleared from stage after the act within the time limit of performance.

11. The best two teams will be awarded exciting prizes including cash (Total Cash Prize 25K)
and cash equivalent based on judging criteria of creativity, content, humor and overall
stage presence.
12. The judge’s decision will be final and binding.
