What is Divergent?

Something is moving away from what is expected. Ending to be different or develop

in different directions. A new direction because it differs from the usual or accepted
norm, it is always expected to be responsible and accountable.

5 Divergent Factions

Erudite Having or showing great knowledge or learning.

 Erudite is one of the five factions in the world of Divergent, the one and only
faction dedicated to knowledge, intelligence, curiosity, and astuteness. It
was formed by those who blamed ignorance for the war that had occurred
in the past, causing them to split into factions in the first place.

Dauntless showing fearlessness and determination.

 They are the group dedicated to courage, bravery, strength, intimidation,
and fearlessness. It was formed by those who blamed cowardice for
society's problems. The only answer is to face your fears and find bravery.

Abnegation The act of renouncing or rejecting something.

 Members from Abnegation value selfless to the point of forgetting
themselves for the sake of others.

Candor the quality of being open and honest in expression; frankness.

 Was formed by those who blamed duplicity and deception for human
nature's faults.

Amity a friendly relationship.

 Members of Amity are dedicated to peacefulness, kindness, forgiveness,
trust, self-sufficiency, and neutrality. Amity was formed by those who
blamed war and fighting for human nature's faults
