STEM 12 RESILIENCE CLASSROOM OFFICERS ELECTION S.Y. 2019-2020

Another year, another set of classroom officers. The time finally came where the
students select and nominate individuals who they think are qualified to lead the whole
section. Having the possession of leadership, all elected officers will have the
responsibility of everything concerning the activities, programs and other affairs where
STEM 12 Resilience is involved.

The election has taken place inside the classroom at 10:15 – 11:00 in the
morning, June 7, 2019. The temporary classroom representative, Angelo Solis, lead the
election where all the students except one, who was excused for a certain reason, has
participated. During the election, Ms. Rose Ann V. Capinig, STEM 12 Resilience
Adviser, is present to guide the students.

Students formally opened the election starting by opening the table for President
up to the Escort that will represent the class. Assistants were designated to selected
positions, namely, Secretary and Treasurer for them to handily complete their tasks
without carrying it by one’s self only. With this, each other can lend a hand and make it
easier for them to perform their duties.

The election ran smoothly until the nomination for the Escort. The two candidates
seem to be in favor with the whole class as there has been a tie in the aforementioned
position. Since the class has no plan of raising the number of votes, the adviser decided
to consider them both as the Escort of the class. This has been the first and will be
expected to be the last.

The election then has been brought to an end with satisfaction and newly
appointed officers will now be starting to perform their duties throughout the whole
school year.
