To Whom It May Concern:

Ms. Victoria Wiegand just completed a 12-week substitute teaching position in fifth grade this
past year. I have directly observed Victoria’s commitment, drive, and dedication to investigate
and learn about the fifth-grade student and curriculum. Victoria teaches based upon best
practices, which helps her support and implement lessons that are designed to the unique
learning styles and abilities of her fifth-grade students. She always behaves in a professional
and ethical manner. She has shown the enthusiasm and self-confidence to excel as a teacher.

Victoria would be an excellent choice for any teaching position. She had wonderful relationships
with her three teaching partners and ALL the students, staff, and parents. Victoria is
knowledgeable and extremely competent in teaching the Bridges (Math) and Journeys (ELA)
curriculum and the expectations for students transitioning into sixth grade. Her positive attitude
and tireless work ethic have resulted in a pleasant atmosphere and learning environment for her
students.

It is my hope that you allow Victoria the opportunity to discuss her teaching qualifications and
philosophy with you. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.

Sincerely,

Ted Zotos, Ed.S.
