Assessment: Component 1: Two Lecture Exams 40%

-The first two exams are each worth 20% of the final grade.

Component 2: Labs 15%

-Labs will be evaluated based on quality and completeness of work.

Component 3: Project 25%

-Students will work in groups of two or three. Each group will perform an
anatomical analysis of a specific movement.

Component 4: Final Exam 20%

-The final exam is not comprehensive in nature.

Brief Description of Course:

The course is designed to develop a fundamental understanding of the
anatomical, neuromuscular and mechanical principles of human
movement. Application of these principles and methods of analysis
covered in this course will enable the student to evaluate human
performance in ways that will enhance the safety, effectiveness and
efficiency of the performance.
