ALFA ROMEO 4C REVEALED TO APPRECIATIVE KENT ‘ALFISTI’ FANS

Lucky ‘Alfisti’ Alfa Romeo lovers from Kent were treated to a breakfast and the chance to win a
30 minute test drive in Alfa Romeo’s brand new 4C on Sunday 18th May. Raising money for
national cancer charity, Macmillan Cancer Support, the Kent Alfa Romeo Owners’ Club were
invited to buy a raffle ticket from Thames Motor Group which would net them the chance to take
the new Alfa Romeo 4C for a spin. With over £100 raised, over sixty Alfa Romeo owners were
delighted to take a look at the new model in the flesh whilst eating breakfast supplied by
Tunbridge Wells business ‘​The Big Green Snack Wagon​’.

Speaking later on AlfaOwner.com, where the meet was promoted, one owner (PJ3074) said it
was “stunning in red” whereas AlfaOwner.com user AlfaPash commented “The showroom is
very smart and a credit to all that work there.” and agreed “The 4C looks gorgeous in red”.

Thames Motor Group’s (Tunbridge Wells) Director, Kevin Khanna, said “it was a glorious day -
the sun was out for the Alfa Owners’ Club, who enjoyed the opportunity to see the Alfa Romeo
4C in ‘the flesh’. We’re also delighted to be able to present £110 to Macmillan Cancer Support
who are a charity we feel do a lot of important work for anyone affected by cancer.”

Alfa Romeo Brand Manager for Thames Motor Group, Peter Williams said “It was fantastic to
see such a brilliant collection of classic and new Alfa Romeo cars all in one location - a real joy
to bring together those who are passionate about Alfa Romeo and what it stands for. We were
pleased to be able to draw the raffle and the lucky winner was Tom Bannister, who currently
owns a Alfa 147 GTA.”

Also in attendance was a white version of an Alfa Romeo 4C which was owned by a visitor,
giving potential new owners the chance to get a feel for what it’s like to own.
