Learning is described as the process of having one’s behavior modified, more

or less permanently, by what he does and the consequences of his action, or


by what he observes.
Teaching, training and other structured learning opportunities are
activities that one person does to another, while learning is
something we can only do for ourselves.
Learning is the acquisition of knowledge or skills through study, experience, or being
taught.
Learning is a relative permanent change in human capabilities that is not a result of
growth process.

The design of the training program is also important for learning to occur

 Combination of beliefs and feeling that pre-dispose a person to behave a certain way
 Important work-related attitudes include job satisfaction, commitment to the organization, and
job involvement
