DTI-ALB NO. 02 S. 2019

TO: ALL RETAILERS, WHOLESALERS AND DISTRIBUTORS IN THE

PROVINCE OF ALBAY

Please be informed that Wan Chiong Steel Corporation rerolling plant has
been ordered for an immediate shut down by DTI last January 25, 2019 in
San Fernando, Pampanga for producing substandard 16mm deformed steel
bars.

To ensure the safety of the consumers and prevent the release of

substandard product in the market, we would like to advise you to pull out
and avoid selling the steel bars produced by this company meanwhile that
the suspension order is not yet lifted.

Please find herewith the attached logo of the aforementioned steel bar for
your ready reference.

For your information and appropriate action.
