aggressive finishers? Do we get scoring opportunities from poor clearances?

TEACHING TOPICS NUMBER ONE NUMBER TWO

1 Ball Striking
2 Blind Side Runs
3 Timing the Runs

COACHING POINTS
1 The cross is a driven ball, hit hard and low. It is not
to be chipped or lofted high.
NUMBER THREE NUMBER FOUR
2 Run in behind when the defender turns his head.
3 Start your run late and sprint to the ball.

NOTES: No floating, fluffy crosses that hang in the air.

Drive it early and hard to make it tough on the
defense. Start your run to goal with the crosser’s last
dribble touch. The cross is a pass, so play it to
someone, not just an area. If you can’t score the cross,
head it back to someone who can.
