Affirming the progress and goals of Organisation of Muslim Cooperation (OIC), Convention on
the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), and OIC plan of Action
for the Advancement of Women,
Acknowledging the resolutions S/RES/1820, S/RES/1888, S/RES/1889 and S/RES/1960 which
highlights the role of women as agents in peace processes and decision-making,
Acknowledges the goal of Millennium Development Goals (MDG) 3.3 which states "proportion
of seats held by women in national parliament",
Recalling General Assembly resolution 58/142 which recognizes the importance of education
from an early age and encourages that women fully participate in the social and political
process by developing knowledge, skills, confidence and ethical values,
Seeking free education for all genders through the primary school stages, bearing in mind
Article 26 of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights which states everyone has the
right to education,

1) Recommends the following measures could be implemented by the governments to deal with
illegalizing abortion, in collaboration with NGO's and OIC:

a. Legalization of Abortion to be portrayed as a global issue and as a crime in which a

innocent is being killed,

b. Urges the establishment of Awareness Raising Programs and social media campagins
with help of local NGO's,

c. Establishing a team of religious scholars to aware the people and to clear the
misconpetions, which will be recruited by OIC,

d. If a individual is found of practicing abortion without any speialized case, they will be
sentence for 6-12 imprisonment depending the number of weeks,

e. Abortion is allowed in specialized cases such as rape, forced sex and when women life is
in danger or she is mentally and physical unfit,

2) Further deploring a program named as “Educate the men” should be launched:

a. In this program men will be told about the basic rights of women, problems that
women faces and its consequences on the society as well as the whole economy of
a country,
 b. In rural areas, community classes and seminars will be held, to spread awareness
about women rights,

c. In urban areas, it will be carried out by the collaboration between national

government and Mass Media, will advertise about women rights through radio, TVs
and local newspapers and social media campagins will be held,

d. Filmmakers would be urged to make movies which are related to women issues,

e. Media campaigns should be run informing women about the training centres, its
helpine number, complaint department, and psychogical health, Also teach men
about the rights and problems of the women so they could themselves emphasize
with the problems of women and participate in the betterment of their condition,

f. Furthermore, a report would be collected from the key members who are working
on this program on a 6 month basis,

g. Qatar, Saudi Arabic, local NGO's to be used by the countries which cannot carry out
the measures,

3) Recommends the following measures could be implemented by the governments to deal with
illegalizing prostition, in collaboration with NGO's and OIC:

a. Legalization of Prostition be portrayed as a global issue which violates the ideology of

Muslim Principles,

b. Urges the establishment of Awareness Raising Programs and social media campagins
with help of local NGO's,

c. Establishing a team of religious scholars to aware the people and to clear the
misconpetions, which will be recruited by OIC,

d. During the hearing If an individual is found practicing prostition by choice the prostitute
will be charged according to the teachings of Islam

e. During the hearing if founds out that its forced prostitution then the government will
create different opportunities with the help of local NGOS and shelter homes to provide
women incentives and help in living respectful life
 4) Encourages all member nations to work according to the, ‘Elimination of Child Marriages’
(ECM) framework for reducing the practice of child marriages, is based on legislative, social and
safety measures:

a. Prevention of the practice of child marriages by legislative measures in the following

manner:

i. Requests amendments in laws for minimum age for marriage to 18 or more for both
genders,

b. Emphasizes on holding counseling and coaching sessions for victims in the following manner:

i. Spreading awareness through religious scholars, which will help clarify any
misconceptions regarding religion,

5) Emphasizes that the following measures could be implemented to work upon problems
faced by females while participating in politics:

a. Establish day care centers for children so that women could focus more towards work,

b. Introducing quotas to increase the seats for women in assembly and parliament,

c. Providing skill building and leadership training programmes for women with the help of
UNDP,

d. Increasing the seats in the quota systems for political representation of women, with
the help of OIC,

e. Raising public awareness through seminars and through door to door campaigns on the
importance of increasing participation of women in decision-making bodies

6) Promoting education of women will be launching a program named as “Educate to Escalate"

which will:

a. Create new schools for girls in rural and urban areas,

b. This program will work in collaboration with UNICEF and also collaborate with the
national government of the country,

c. This program will also seek to promote topics i.e Female Gentition Mutilation,
abortion, pregnancy and physical violence will be added in school curriculums to
each them about women’s problems,
 d. The schools will be administrated by women as well as teachers and other staff
would also be women in order for women feel safe while studying,

e. Providing teachers proper training that leads to professional qualities so that they
can ensure that young girls are taught according to the international education
standards,

f. These schools should offer special programs for women community such as student
exchange programs or have different public personality to appear in these school so
the children may have aspirations and dream and bring a positive change in society,

g. This program will be funded by Qatar, Saudi Arabia and local NGO's,

7) Recommends all nations to follow the framework known as "SAFE" to execute traffickers and
break down the network and patterns of trafficking crews through doctors and intelligence
agencies in the following ways:

a. Women trafficking routes should be idenfied with the help of respective country military
forces,

b. The person who is involved in this practice after proper investigation will be heavily
fined and cases will be filed under the judicial system,

c. Intelligence Agencies should send undercover cops who can blend in the trafficking
industry to gain access to interior information of the trafficking industry so that it can be
easy to execute traffickers,

d. Victims found deceased or alive must go through medical examinations so that forensic
analysts, they may contain drugs in their body while they were in the possession of
traffickers,

e. Women who are objected to trafficking, once rescued, should be kept in rehabilitation
centers, providing psychological counseling, also provided micro finances, vocational
and recreational training so that they could earn a living for themselves,

f. Funding will be provided by Qatar, Saudi Arabia and local NGO's,
