INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR-WORKSHOP ON TEACHING K TO 12 STANDARDS


WITH 21st CENTURY PEDAGOGIES OF THE SAINT JOSEPH CENTER
FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CO.

The Saint Joseph Center for Professional Development Co. will conduct the International
Seminar-Workshop Teaching K to 12 Standards with the 21st Century Pedagogies with the theme
K to 12 Education: Integrating the 21st Century Skills to Meet the Needs of the Cyber Generation
on the following dates and venues:

July 25–28, 2019 Daet, Camarines Norte
August 22–25, 2019 Dipolog and Zamboanga City
August 23–26, 2019 Butuan City
August 28–31, 2019 Teachers Camp, Baguio City
September 19–22, 2019 Naga City
October 24–27, 2019 Baguio City
October 28–31, 2019 Pagadian City

The seminar-workshop aims to:

1. use a plethora of learner-centered learning activities for effecting the


curriculum standards of Science, Math, English, Filipino and Araling
Panlipunan;
2. prepare strategy-lessons in Teaching Science, Math, English, Filipino, and
Araling Panlipunan integrating the 21st century skills; and
3. conduct a micro-teaching of prepared strategy-lesson in English, Science,
Math, Filipino, and Araling Panlipunan, which affects the curriculum
standards and integrated the 21st century sills.

The target participants are Grades 3 to 12 teachers, school heads, supervisors and
coordinators, students and professors in teacher education from public and private schools.

Participation of public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes


policy stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged
Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
