Lesson Plan

I. OPENING PRAYER: The teacher will lead a model prayer to Jesus

II. OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to:
1. Identify the role of Jesus to our life
2. The reason Jesus love us
3. Encourage pupils to recite a simple prayer during that start of the class.

III. SUBJECT: Prayer on Jesus

IV. Materials: Picture cut out of Jesus, Bible

V. MOTIVATION:
1. Show the class the pictures of Jesus and ask them what they observe on the picture.

IV. LESSON PROPER


A. Short Story Analysis
The teacher read Mathew 9:36, Mark 10:45 , Luke 23:34, 2 Peter 3:9
1. Guide Question: How did Jesus was described on the verses being read ?
2. Analysis:
a. What did you like about Jesus?
b. What qualities of JESUS would you like to imitate?

B. Group Sharing
The pupils are encouraged to share their own experience when praying to Jesus help them solve their problems.

C. Deepening/ Grounding
Read this verses on the Bible ans discuss it to the class
1. Luke 1:26-38 (Announcement of the Birth of Jesus)
2. Luke 2:9-14 (The Birth of Jesus)

D. Generalization
Teach the pupils if even many people have wondered if Jesus really loves them. The Bible is clear that no
matter what we have done, Jesus does love us. In fact, He promises to both forgive us of every wrong we have
done and provide us eternal life if only we will believe in Him: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his one
and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

E. Summary: Sentence Completion


Write on your notebook as many as you can the good qualities of Jesus that we should imitate.

IV. EVALUATION
Homework:
Write a simple prayer to jesus and present it to the class.
