Dear Atty. Milla:

The Kalinga State University will attend the 2nd Association of Universities of Asia and
the Pacific (AUAP) – International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) Joint
International Conference on May 23-25, 2019 to be held at the SIAS University,
Zhengzhou, China. The University President will attend the joint conference.

We believe that the university shall be benefitted by the internationalization of programs

that this conference will provide and at the same time will also pave way for future
collaborations and academic partnerships with Chinese universities. Participation of KSU
to the Conference is also a commitment to AUAP being a member of this organization.

In addition, this will also be an opportunity to monitor the status of a KSU faculty who is
on Scholarship at Zhengzhou University.

In this regard, may I request for the assessment on the legitimacy of the participation of
Kalinga State University to the joint conference of which the university hopes to attend.
Attached herewith is the Travel Proposal and draft MOU with SIAS University for your
reference.
