SUBJECT: SBP TECHNICAL OFFICIALS (REFEREES/Table Officials) ACCREDITATION AND

LICENSING PROGRAM (Phase 2)

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, Region 1 will be conducting the last phase of the SBP
TECHNICAL OFFICIALS (REFEREES/TABLE OFFICIALS) ACCREDITATION AND LICENSING on JUNE 29 - 30, 2019 at
the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center (NRSCC) GYM, Lingayen, Pangasinan. This program shall be
attended/participated by ALL accredited/licensed SBP Referees, whose licenses had expired or due to expire this
month/year thus, it is deemed proper to renew it and for new referees to attend for accreditation. The activity is
open to all member-referees of LA UNION and PANGASINAN and the cities of San Fernando, Urdaneta, Dagupan,
San Carlos and Alaminos.

All Provincial Directors, Provincial/Area/District, City/Municipal Commissioners/coordinators and all SBP-

member referees are advised to take advantage of the schedule as this will be LAST activity for referee
accreditation and that there will be no more accreditation after this schedule. Those who will not be able to
attend said activity nor renew their licenses are deemed INACTIVE and may not practice/render services as an
SBP referee and shall not be authorized to wear/use the SBP uniform/logo.

The REGISTRATION/LICENSING/RENEWAL FEE is One Thousand Pesos (Php1,000). There shall be a Pre-
Registration and all coordinators/heads of groups are directed submit a list of attendees/participants as the
expected number is required by the SBP Technical Commission. Municipal/city coordinators shall submit a list of
those who will be attending and must be noted or endorsed by the Provincial Director/Commissioner before
JUNE 20. Herein attached is the INFORMATION SHEET which shall be filled up properly and submit at the
Secretatiat upon registration. Pls reproduce.

New recruits may only be accepted to attend if there is a strong recommendation from the Provincial
Directors/Commissioners and should possess good moral character and record of performance as a basketball
practitioner/official. Referees from other associations/group MAY be accepted upon presentation of
clearance/letter of resignation/cease membership from that group duly signed by the group/assoc.president.

Other member-referees from the provinces of Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte who were not able to attend
in the 1st Phase held in Laoag City may attend in Lingayen PROVIDED a note/endorsement and or approval
from the Provincial Commissioners.

Wide and immediate dissemination and compliance is desired.
