Welcome Students!
Whether you are a new student or are returning from break, the International Education
Programs (IEP) Office would like to extend our warmest welcome to you as you
begin a new journey here at Seattle Central!
We also want to thank you for reading our International Student E-Newsletter!
Published every week, the E-News is our PRIMARY way of keeping you well informed!
It is a great way to get updates so you never miss out on important announcements -
from immigration regulations and academic policies, to workshops, job opportunities, and
fun events on and off campus!

COLLEGE STUDENTS

Make Up Orientation for


NEW & CURRENT
College/College Bridge Students
Gain Online Registration Access!
All students are required to complete orientation in order to gain online
registration permission. If you missed orientation, then you are required to
complete a Make-Up Orientation. There are two choices for completion:
Attend a Make-up Orientation meeting or complete the Online Orientation.
Make Up Orientation Meeting

Please allow 1-2 business days for online registration to be enabled after
completing Online Orientation.

A FEW NOTES:
 Make-Up Orientation is made up of two sessions: Academic and Immigration. If you arrived to
Orientation late or left early, you may have missed the Immigration or Academic portion. Even if
you attended a part of Orientation, you must still make-up the session of the Orientation that
you missed.
 Be sure to CHECK-IN at each session so you get credit for attending! Bring a pen, photo ID, your
student ID number and e-mail address. Doors close exactly at the starting time of each session
and don’t re-open—Arrive early!
 If you missed ALL of Orientation, you must complete BOTH the Immigration and Academic
Sessions. You may complete the make-up sessions in different ways (part in-person and part
online), but you must complete one of each type.
 If you are unsure of which session to make up, contact or visit the International Education
Programs Office in BE 1113 for more information.

FINANCES

In accordance with Seattle Central’s policy, tuition and fees must be paid in
full within seven business days of enrollment OR by the first day of the
quarter, whichever comes first.
Failure to pay on time will result in DROPPED CLASSES. Now that the
quarter has begun, please pay any remaining balances immediately, and for
any classes that you have added or changed.
Some of our international students have already been dropped from their
classes because of late payment. Don't let that happen to you! If you have
any balance due for this quarter — even just $1 — pay it immediately!

Tuition can be paid online from your MyCentral account!


If using an International VISA credit card, use your home country’s
information for the ‘billing information’ but for State type ‘WA’ and for Zip Code
type ‘98122’. You may also pay at the Cashier’s office in BE1104.

The Registration Office WILL drop all unpaid classes.
