Job/Task Description:

The main aim of the 2nd week is to work along with salesman in 3 main
divisions of HUL like DETS, Personal products and Foods and Beverages
division.
To Analyze the job of salesman, retailers, whole seller and how people prefer
buying our company product.
To be in market field, understand the difficulties in collection and delivery of
the product.

Learning:
I learnt the people skill and how to influence the retailer to buy our
products more. DETS is the major selling in HUL followed by Personal care
and Foods and beverages. For DETS 8 % is the common margin given by HUL
to retailers and rest of the divisions 10 % is the common margin. You have to
give more margin for some slow moving goods to improve the sales. Sales man
has more jobs to complete their target namely line target, easy to earn and
overall target. Easy to earn will give extra benefits to them.

Schemes are offered for stores which contains extra margin. Retailers will give
importance to buy this goods since it give more margin.
