Introduction
Background
New Horizon Consultancy Pty (Ltd) is company that specializes in designing and
implementing training programs for both private and government sectors.
The company was established in 1998, it came to existence after the owners who are
qualified Human Resource Specialists identified a problem of skills shortage faced by
various organizations in South Africa and the negative impact in the success of the
business and in the economy of the country and globally. It has been in existence for a
period of ten years, providing training services to various organizations.
The company employs highly qualified, competent, dedicated and professional training
specialists who ensure that our clients receive excellent service. During the period of
existence the company has managed to offer its services to small medium and large
organizations.
New Horizons has managed to build a good reputation with the existing client base by
offering services of high quality standard in order to keep the existing clients and also
attract the new.
The main objective of New Horizons consultancy is to provide best training services to
all the companies nationally and to equip employees with the necessary skills. The
company has positioned itself as a national leadership training provider by
delivering task specific training.

BBBEE CREDETIALS
Fifty six percent (75%) of our staff members are from previously disadvantaged groups.
We also have training programmes in place for the historically disadvantaged employees
which are in line with the Skills Development Act. New Horizon Consultancy is one of
the leading empowerment companies providing training and skills development
nationally.
Our operational processes are all in line with the requirements of the Employment Equity
Act and the Labour Relations Act to ensure a consistent, fair, transparent and non-
discriminatory recruitment process.

Seminars and training sessions are used effectively to update staff on the current

In order for New Horizon consultancy to provide effective training to their clients, it is
imperative to first perform a training analysis plan. The plan gives a clear guideline on
how to go about to implement the necessary training interventions.

Waste can be defined as any activity, process, time lapse or application of any
materials/components that do not directly or indirectly enhance the value of the
product/process. Identification and elimination of waste is the business of everyone in the
organization
New Horizon offers a training programme on how waste can be eliminated in the
workplace in order for the business to make profit and to achieve its profit. The
programme is designed to provide operational and supervisory staff with the skills and
techniques necessary to identify all forms of waste in the work environment and to
eliminate these. They will also learn how to adapt their work practices to ensure that
waste is permanently eradicated. The programme is very practical and staff gets the
opportunity to apply the techniques in project work at the work place.

PRICING STRUCTURE
Training is conducted as a cost per day depending on the nature of the business. Our
standard fees is R10 000, 00 per day depending on the volume of staff. Training materials
differ to the programme conducted and range from R100 to R150 per trainee. Some
training is conducted at the customer’s venue or they however come to our place
depending on what the client’s needs. We are also prepared to negotiate the price based
on the number of groups. We also offer discount depending on the relationship between
us the organization. Groups of more than 20 are offered special price.

PER HEAD
Training of such nature is conducted at our Training Centre situated at Strand Street in
Cape Town. Some training courses are conducted by means of Seta and Department of
Labour and offered to the public. Per head, the training course ranges from R1500, 00 to
R2500, 00 depending on the nature of the course to be given to learners. The company is
prepared to offer 15% discount for 4 or more people from one company, attending our
public course.
BILLING METHODS
The billing method depends on the situation whereby a company finalized the booking of
the training course. Once it is finalized, then a confirmation receipt containing the prices
and sessions scheduled time according to the training course. The necessary documents
will be posted to the organization requested the training and pro-forma tax invoice will be
emailed to the person involved in training. We also acknowledge the payment to be done
in full settlement on the completion of the programme and we do have a grace 15 days
afterwards.
TRAINING FEEDBACK
At the end of each training programme attendees will be assess in terms of class test,
presentation and debate, to evaluate their level of understanding and offer assistant where
needed. Written feedback will be given to each attendee and areas of improvement will
be identified.
AFTER SERVICE
New Horizon offers after service in all the training packages that we offer. One month
after the training course has been completed. Our training instructors visit our clients to
their respected organizations and assess the improvement, see if attendees practically
apply what they learned from the course and offer assistant and guidance where needed,
with no additional cost.
Participants will be given necessary documents (materials) to equip themselves at the end
of each training programme as an excellence measure control.
FINAL PRODUCT
New Horizon will issue the following documents at the end of the programme for the
organization that has sent delegates:
Attendance register
Certificate of attendees
Follow up contact numbers
