1.0 OBJECTIVE

The objective of this method statement is to carry out earthworks for surcharge area PROPOSED
CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF EARTHWORKS AND OTHER RELATED WORKS
FOR DEVELOPMENT OF PHASE 2 (R11), AT BANDAR BUKIT RAJA 2, MUKIM KAPAR,
DISTRICT OF KLANG, SELANGOR DARUL EHSAN FOR MESSR. SIME DARBY USJ
DEVELOPMENT SDN. BHD.

2.0 SCOPE

The scope of this method statement applies for earthworks for surcharge area at Bukit Raja R11
project.

Storage : All suitable material to be used on site shall be stored at designated area.

8.0 PLANT, MACHINERY, EQUIPMENT & TOOLS

Dozer, Vibratory, Roller, Excavator, Dump Truck, Motor Graders, Backpusher, and etc.

9.0 PREPARATORY WORKS

10.0 WORK METHODOLOGY

10.1 Identify and ascertain that the areas to carry out the earthworks for surcharge are as per drawings.

10.2 Conduct survey for platform of sand blanket area.

10.3 Conduct the fill operations to lines, grades and levels as determined in the drawings.

10.4 Carry out Field Density Test as required or as specified in the specifications.

10.5 After surcharging period end (4 Month), excavate the surcharge material to the required platform
level.
