About Translation Studies

This series brings together two types of publications: those that con-
centrate more on the theory of translation, and those that are ori-
ented towards the practice of translating. This book series welcomes
all innovative approaches to text-based, interlingual communication,
and it provides a forum for new research in Translation Studies. With
these publications, ZETA BOOKS hopes to foster a dialogue between
researchers working in this broad and diverse field. Special attention is
given to publications that attempt to fuse analytical and hermeneutical
approaches to the act of translation.
