4.1 Introductory Activity Prayer
Review of previous lesson
4.2 Activity Instruct the students to find the absolute
difference of the distances of point A from F1
and from F2, point B from F1 and F2.

4.3 Analysis Based on the gathered answers, derive the


equation of hyperbolas.

4.4 Abstraction  The teacher will discuss the different


parts of a hyperbola centered at origin
and (h, k).
 The teacher will give ample examples
about hyperbolas and how to sketch
there graphs.
