Superior operating ease
With Makino's unique drop-tank design, even the large U86 can provide the same
excellent accessibility as a small machine.
Foot recesses are provided at the bottom of the cast bed on three sides
of the table to allow a comfortable working posture. A space of 160 mm
from the floor is provided at the front of the machine to facilitate the use
of a simple lift for easy workpiece setups.

Versatility for handling diverse machining jobs
Large workpieces are easily accommodated by X-axis travel of 800 mm and Y-axis travel

cutting equipment allows the U86 to cut large taper angles in thick workpieces as well.
