Assignment #PP4: Finalized Game and Presentation

Objective:
To develop a computer game according to requirements in the Project Proposal
(Submission #PP2)

Requirements:
An executable should be submitted which satisfies requirements in the Project Proposal
in Submission #PP2. Also, a game play demo video (around 1-2 min in AVI or MP4
format) should submit in a CD.

Note: The entire Visual Studio .Net 2017 project should be submitted with necessary
resources to compile to the executable prototype.

Assessment criteria and weighting:

Game Application
Correctness / Bug Proof 20%
Design and Implementation 45%
Understanding of problems 10%
Source code documentation 5%

Presentation
Professionalism, Communication skills, Organization 20%

For late submission, 25% of score will deduct per day.


If the submitted project file and source code didn’t compile with Visual Studio 2017
under the CMC M7024 Animation lab 1 PC setup, 30% of the total mark of the
assignment will be deducted.

If the submitted C++ program / header file has missing student name or student number,
20% of the total mark of the assignment will be deducted.

Things to submit and Submission:

Please create one single zip (only .zip, not accept other compression file) file which
contains the entire Visual Studio .Net 2017 project files with source codes which
necessary to compile your C++ program. You should also include your report file (the
MS Word document) and any image files which you have used in your game for this
submission.

Please name the assignment zip file as “SM2603_PP4_ XxxYyyZzz.zip” (where


XxxYyyZzz is your Full name e.g. SM2603_PP4_ChanTaiMan.zip), and then submit
the file to the Assignment PP4_2018 under the Canvas system. [File Size limit: 60Mb].

** The student also required to submit a hard copy of entire Visual Studio .Net project
with source codes and resources, and the game executable in CD form. Also, the game
play demo video (around 1-2 min in AVI or MP4 format) should also include in the CD.
For the CD cover, please put down the following information:
 “SM2603 Year: 2018 Sem A”
 Your full name, student ID
 Game Project Name

Note: Any submission without student name and student ID clearly shown on the first
page of the progress report will result in 20% of score deduct in the assignment #PP4.
