Worship Service Aids


Large print bulletins and songbooks, and copies of the “Lift Up Your
Hearts” Hymnal are available on the table in the foyer. Please return them
when you are finished using them. Most of the songs from our worship
services are found in this book. Headsets to assist with hearing are also
provided.

Gerry and I are delighted to be able to spend the next few weeks with you
here in Charlottetown. Thanks for all who had a part in preparing for our
time here. Although the time is short, I want to be available to anyone who
has a desire to have a pastoral chat. So, feel free to email me

Charlottetown CRC council would like to present Rev. Moses Kang to the
congregation for a vote following the morning worship service. All
members 18 and over are eligible to vote.

Church Photo Directory


Picture taking will take place inside the sanctuary after the morning
service. Today we are asking all families with the last names starting with
the letter M-Z to meet in the sanctuary following the service for their
picture. July 7 will be for those who missed getting their picture taken. If
neither of these dates work for your family, please let Monique know so
that we can arrange a different date. If you already have a recent family
picture and do not want another picture taken, please put a copy of the
picture in Monique’s mailbox or email it to info@charlottetowncrc.org

SERVE
Fifteen of our young people, along with three chaperones’ will be travelling
to Burlington, ON to serve the community. Hosted by New Street CRC the
YP will serve with creation care, recreational ministries for children,
compassion to the marginalized through painting, cleaning and gardening
and much more. Please pray for the SERVE team in their travels and in
their service from July 5 – 14.

VBS Registration
VBS is coming! It's from July 15-19. Don't forget to register your kids for
VBS at www.tinyurl.com/crcroar.

VBS Volunteers
Please consider volunteering for 2-3 days. We still need 2 crew leaders,
and 2 helpers. We are getting so close to having all our volunteers. Thank
you to all who volunteered already. There will a meeting on July 11 at 7
p.m. for all the crew leaders and helpers in the piano room. Please let us
know if you can't make it.

Prayer Time
Today we plan to meet for prayer at the back of the sanctuary after the
morning service. Although our main topic this morning will be our
upcoming VBS, other requests for petitions, thanksgiving and praise are
also welcomed. Everyone is invited to join us for all or part of the 20-
minute session.

Job Opening ICS


Do you have a heart for the Lord and a passion for serving young children?
Immanuel Christian School has an opening for an Early Childhood
Educator in our Junior Kindergarten program on Tuesdays and Thursdays
for the 2019/2020 school year. The applicant must have their Early
Childhood Educator II, Early Childhood Educator III, or early childhood
supervisor certificate. Applications can be sent to tdeelstra@icspei.ca and
should include a resume, 3 references and a statement of faith. Application
deadline: July 15, 2019.
Items for Homeless Shelter
For the month of July, we are collecting items for the local homeless
shelter. Our attempt is to put little care packages together. Items we are
seeking are the following: bottled water, socks, Tim cards, granola bars,
etc. If there are any questions, please speak with Mitch Reid or call 902-
213-8849.

For three days in August, we’re bringing people to Windsor, Ontario, for a
time of learning, worship, fellowship, and encouragement. Keynote
speakers include Ann Voskamp, Ed Stetzer, Mary Hulst, and Soong-Chan
Rah. Workshops on a wide variety of topics will equip and inspire you and
connect you with others serving in similar ways. Register today at

Prayer Time
Join us as we pray. We plan to meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each
month from 7:00-9:00 p.m. to pray for our Council as they meet as well as
our congregation. Feel free to join us for part or all this time.

This Week’s Prayer Focus


This week we pray for the members of the Charlottetown Christian
Reformed Church. Praying for the body of believers here at the
Charlottetown CRC, especially for those on committees and in leadership
positions. We also pray for the revitalization of our church’s Prayer
Ministry. Please, refer to the monthly prayer brochure or online at

Collection Schedule

This week’s offering is for Open Door Outreach, a ministry that helps PEI
women who are incarcerated and/or addicted experience freedom and
real change through personal transformation. They offer personal
mentoring, group programs and assistance with transitions into the
community post release. Open Door takes the initiative and comes
alongside marginalized women on an indefinite basis. They are a Christian
humanitarian organization with all female staff and volunteers who are
motivated by a personal faith exemplified by a loving, compassionate and
non-judgmental presence in the community.

Next week’s offering is for Christian Motorcyclist Association. The Christian


Motorcyclists Association is a non-profit, interdenominational
organization dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ; primarily but
not exclusively through motorcycling and all that involves. Since its
beginning in the mid-1970s, God has grown CMA into an international
ministry with 27 active countries and an additional 7 countries in the
forming stages.
Come One; Come All to Our Annual Canada Day Picnic!
You are invited to the annual church picnic tomorrow July 1, at Stanhope
Beach. Watch for the CRC PICNIC sign. Come and enjoy a relaxing time with
friends, fun, food and games right on the beach! If your last name starts
with a letter A-M, we invite you to bring a snack to share for coffee time.
