permit the required quantity of air to pass through such units at rates
not exceeding those for which the filter or unit was designed or SAES-K-100

approved.Grease filters shall be tight fitting and firmly held in place Para. 508.5.11
and so arranged so that all exhaust air passes through the grease
filters. (UMC, para. 509.2.4.1)

Grease Filter units shall be installed in frames or holders with


handles by which they may be readily removed without the use of SAES-K-100

system is equipped for such cleaning in place.

Grease Filter shall be sized and made removable so they may be


passed through a dishwashing machine or cleaned in a pot sink and
