I absolutely understand that you have insecurities about your future school and that it's a tough to
leave your known enironment behind, but as Charles Darwin said "It is not the strongest of the
species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.". There is
going to be lots f changes in your life and this will certainly be a great one. You have to get the
most out of it and this school can provide you with everything you need to do so.
There are secondary and technical subject that you can chose from, which gives you a great
chance to show and develope your strenghts and abilities. Sport also plays an important part in
school life. Here we have many facilities for different kind of sport activities, for example football,
basketball, ladies football, athletics and tenis. The school has enjoyed great sporting success
over the years and has won the title of Irelands Fittest School in 2015/2016.
In our school you have the choice of going into Transition Year, which provides personal and
social development and also a little relaxation before the Leaving Cert. A very exciting part of the
Transition Year Curriculum is the Personal Development Programme. During the school year TY
students have the opportunity to experience and study a variety of outdoor, indoor and
educational courses ranging from Team Building, Coaching, First Aid, Drivers Education, ECDL,

If you would like to be part of a friendly and carrying community where you can develope yourself

the coming year in one of the corridors.
