INCOME GENERATING PROJECT:
Sewing Pouch Wallet and Pillow Making
II – Introduction
Sewing your own clothes allows you to have a unique wardrobe. Sewing makes you more
creative, which makes it one of the best benefits of sewing. The other different ways are to sew a
seam, finish a hem, and insert a zipper. And then, there are all the different types of fabric to
work with, all the different patterns to hack up and create with. Getting creative with our
construction techniques and fabric choices means we are engaging our brains in a more creative
thought.
In this light, the implementer embarked on an income generating project as a means of
maintaining and sustaining the program. Most importantly funds were raised for
the procurement of instructional materials. Specifically, high-speed sewing machine and Over-
lock edge sewing machine which is used for the students to enhance more of their sewing skills
and bring out their creativity in making different types of garments.
III – Rationale
The fundamental reason of this project is to produce a sewing machine and printer in the
school and also to help the Grade-10 students in enhancing their skills in sewing. The students of
