ABSTRACT
In recent years we can see around the business that the things are changing like never before due to
technological advancement, change in economy and political interventions and Government
programmes and schemes. It has been also observed that there is a major shift in consumers taste and
preferences particularly during this century. The enterprises which are continuous monitoring and
focusing on these issues are much more successful than the rest. There is a cut throat competition in the
market and every enterprise wants to fill the vacuum of the market by providing desired product and
services to the consumers. In current market scenario, the studies show that consumers are now health
and environment conscious. Perhaps this is the reason, that the concept of green products has been
developing in the economies around the world particularly in India. Hence, a new class of
entrepreneurs came into existence in the production economy – Green Entrepreneurs—to satisfy the
green needs of the consumers, who are more health-conscious and more eco-friendly believing in
sustainable development approach to economic development.It hasbecome a good and profitable
opportunity for those enterprises, particularly MSMEs, who believe in innovation and redesigning their
products and services in ecological manner. It is a perfect time for Green Entrepreneurs who want to
come and be a part of this emerging green market.
The purpose of this paper is to aim in general to understand the opportunities for green entrepreneurs in
the changing scenario of market shift. This analytical study is based on available literature, various

consumerism and classifies the green entrepreneurship with specific focus on Startups in India. This
paper specifically focuses on the role of MSMEs in the development of Green Entrepreneurship in
India in general and rural areas in particular. A special mention is also made in this paper about the
role of women entrepreneurs in fostering the Green Entrepreneurship in India.

Abstract
People become the most important assets to any company in today’s business world. Unlike
physical assets, human assets can be developed, improved and motivated to achieve the goals of an
organization. Further satisfied employees will make achieve its goals and objectives. The prime focus
of this study was to investigate the relationship between welfare facilities and job satisfaction in
chemical industry of Cuddalore district. This study empirically evaluated independent variables
(medical facilities, canteen facilities, loan facilities and housing facilities) and their relationship to the
job satisfaction. The sample size consists of 110 operational level employees. The data collection was
done by using self-administrated structured questionnaire. The result indicated that welfare facilities
were positively and Significantly correlated with job satisfaction. Further, suggestions were made for
the improvement of welfare facilities.

Abstract
A class of entrepreneurs is must for the economic and industrial development of the country. They
need to be motivated and developed to undertake the entrepreneurial activities. The entrepreneurship is
not something in born; it can be developed in the individual gradually through various kinds of
interventions and development programmes. To create an idea to start a business, to develop and assess
the idea accordingly, to generate and collect the information of idea, to organise and manage it and to
take decisions for all these and to bear risk and to remain creative and innovative, etc. are the functions/
activities of the present day entrepreneurs. To do all these entrepreneurial activities entrepreneurship
development programmes are essential. Those who have decided to become entrepreneurs must
have basic understanding, visionary power, sense of value, risk-taking capacity, innovative nature etc.
as basic qualities. The required entrepreneurial skills can be imparted among them with the help of
various Entrepreneurial Development Programmes(EDPs). Though training interventions and
programmes in the form of EDPs exist in almost all countries of the world, there are no standardised
formats for it. There is a wide variation across countries in the manner in which EDPs are organised
and the inputs imparted and the mode of imparting the inputs. At the same time, one can observe that
all interventions and EDPs ultimately try to strengthen the latent entrepreneurship in the individual. In
this regard, this paper discusses about the significance of entrepreneurs,EDPs and the stages of EDP.

atmosphere, interpersonal relationship etc. The result of the study highlights that banks should
improved the work life policies of bank employees in order to increase their job satisfaction,

organization. To meet the organizational goals and to bank employees are facing maximum work
pressures while offering timely service. The life style of the employees has become very complex, due
to which their mental health gets affected. In an age of highly dynamic and competitive world, bank
employees are exposed to all kinds of stressors that can affect them on all aspects of life. In this context
the researcher has undertaken a study to find out the Quality of work life and Occupational stress
among the bank employees and its influence on public and private sector banks. The researcher has
used disproportionate Convenience sampling method to obtain the sample. Techniques such as chi
square test ANOVA was used to analyze the data.

Abstract
Green Human Resource management is a new emerging concept in today’s scenario. The report has
been prepared on the topic Green HRM: Study on Green Hr Practices, Its Awarenessand
Implementation in Titan Company Ltd. Coimbatore.The main objective of the study is to study the
amount of awareness among Titan Company Ltd. Coimbatore with regard to the Green HR
Practices.The study was done on a sample of 73 employees and 2 HR managers having age between 21
to 50 years in Titan Company Ltd. Coimbatore. The process adopted for the study involved Physical
Interaction and Questionnaires. Growing concern for global environment and the development of
international standards for environmental Management has created a need for business to adopt
environmental strategies and programmes Organizations today have become more conscious about the
growing importance of Integration of environmental Management and Human Resource Management.
We are entering a green economy and so the impact of our daily activities on environment and our
desire to go green has expanded from just individuals to organizations. Organizations today believe that
employees must be inspired, empowered and environmentally aware of greening in order to carry out

ABSTRACT
In the 21st century, India is considered as the “Land of Rising Entrepreneurship”. This is
because today India holds 48 million small business, double the number of small companies in the US.
On the other side, only five percent of adult Indians establish their own business: a survey report by the
economic times. Education plays a major role in promoting entrepreneurship in the young minds of
India. Under the responsibilities of the educational institutions, Talent management is mandatory for
unveiling the potential, skills, and talents of students which paves the path for developing
entrepreneurial skills and competencies of the youth. The theme of this paper revolves around
entrepreneurship, talent management and the importance of implementation of talent management
practices for the students in educational institutions for promoting entrepreneurialism.

ABSTRACT
The public and private sector banks are very important role in growth of Indian economy.
Traditionally, banks has involved in accepting deposits from the public at a lower rate and issuing loans
at higher rate and thereby making profit on interest margin. An efficient banking structure can promote
greater amount of investment which can further help to achieve a faster growth of economy. The paper
aimed to examine and compare the financial performance of selected public and private sector banks in
India during 2013-14 to 2017-18. The period of study is five years of selected public sector banks (i.e.
SBI & Indian Bank) and private sector banks (i.e. Axis Bank & HDFC Bank). The study based on
secondary source of data collected from their official sites and annual reports and the data analysing
through financial ratio such as Capital Adequacy Ratio, Return on Assets, Earning Per Share, Cash to
Deposit Ratio, Credit to Deposit Ratio, Ratio of Interest Income to Total Assets, Ratio of Investment
Deposit Ratio and For these ratios and statistical tools like Standard Deviation, Co- efficient of
variance. We analysed the financial strength and weakness of the selected public and private sector
banks. In this paper we found that private sector banks are better utilisation of the available resources
such as assets, deposits, advances and investments. And it was also observed in the study that public
sector banks have not utilised their resources optimally. Therefore it has necessary for public sector
banks to play more attention on improving their efficiency and productivity of employee training,
incentive and proper management.

one’s ability to convert ideas into action. This capability of a person to convert ideas into new venture
creation and to ensure its survival and growth is termed as entrepreneurial competency. The
entrepreneurial competencies are an important aspect of entrepreneurial behavior. The major factors
leading to entrepreneurship development process provide a supportive setting wherein the entrepreneur
can realise the benefits of entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship is not something that is innate, rather it is a discipline that can be learned through in

entrepreneurial education, in building up core entrepreneurial competencies. The study uses correlation
analysis and factor analysis to identify the core entrepreneurial competencies.
The results of the study suggest three categories of core entrepreneurial competencies:
technical/practical (identifying & acting on opportunities, systematic planning, problem-solving, and
information-seeking), attitudinal (self-confidence, persistence, and commitment to work), and inter-
personal (persuasion, assertiveness, and use of influence strategies). While the technical/practical
competencies are usually incorporated in entrepreneurship courses in management education
programmes, the attitudinal and inter-personal competencies require focused soft skills training and
experiential learning, which are often not specifically incorporated into entrepreneurship courses. This
is an area in which entrepreneurial education can be further improved.

Indian Agricultural system in promoting livelihood and ensure employment to the rural poor. In India,
Government, Developmental agencies and inter-governmental institutions are investing heavily in
promoting skill oriented agriculture related developmental programmes. Like Agriculture, the avenues
of livestock entrepreneurship can be classified into four major categories viz., service providers, farm
level producers, Input producers, value addition and marketing livestock products. The aim of the paper
is to find answer to the question: Why can be regional knowledge management system considered as a
vehicle for promoting livestock entrepreneurship rather than technological perspective. This research
approach is based on reviewing organisational dynamism and institutional dynamism of Agriculture
and its allied technology system. This paper compiles and synthesis on the scope of use of ICT enabled
regional knowledge management system for transfer of technology for best management practices by
entrepreneurs. Emphasis is also laid on embedding the farmers to regional tacit knowledge
management system about Animal husbandry innovations. The major deterrents in livestock
entrepreneurship are lack of seed capital, lack of regional knowledge on scientific innovations and poor
entrepreneurial orientation. The major deterrents in promoting livestock entrepreneurship from
institutional perspective are biasness towards certain trajectory of technologies and poor balance of

India is the largest producer of raw cashew nut contributing 20 per cent of total global production and
exports 60per cent of cashew kernel globally.Cashew nut is one among the top exporting commodities
that earn larger returns to India’s export column. The nut is among country’s top four agricultural
exports along with basmati rice, spices and tea.Cashew not alone earns huge dollars and also gives
employment directly or indirectly to a large number of people. In India, cashew is cultivated in10.62
lakh thousand hectares with the production of 817 thousand MT and with the average productivity of
753Kgs/ha. Tamil Nadu stands fourth with cashew cultivated in 1.42 lakhhectares and with the
production and productivity of about 71.030 thousand MT and 478 Kgs/ha respectively (DCCD
statistics, 2018). In Tamil Nadu, cashew is cultivated largely in seven districts. Other than general
known fact that kernel as a great snack, cashew also known for its rich medical value. Cashew is
always a major exporting commodity.Cashew not only earns valuable foreign exchange but also
provides sustainable employment opportunities to 1.5 million people in processing and agrarian sector,
especially women (92 per cent), thereby contributing substantially to rural economy.At present more
than 3900 processing units are functioning in India under organized and unorganized sectors with a
processing capacity of 16.43 lakh MT per year. The domestic production is almost 50per cent of the
demand and hence India depends heavily on import of raw nut from Asian and African
countries.Cashew is also can be processed in small scale cottage industry. With Indian economy

reduction among people who are financially constrained and vulnerable in various countries.
The entrepreneurship development in any country leads to the employment generation and
poverty eradication. Small entrepreneurs suffer from a great deal of indebtedness and are
subject to exploitation in the credit market through high interest rates and lack of convenient
access to credit. They need credit to fund their working capital needs on a day-to-day basis as

wholesale firms, the study aimed at investigating trade credit and principles adopted by firms in the
management of account receivables across the industrial sectors. This enabled the study to examine

is to focus on the new credit policies in receivable management in the organization. The secondary data
collected for this study is only last 6 months from October 2017 to March 2018. The study has been

belong to the group of the drudgering majority. Though these enterprises are gradually fading

A total of 100 sample (Palmyra entrepreneurs) were selected from each block @ 20 per block
from Thoothukudi and Tirunelveli districts following Simple Random sampling procedure.
Key Informant Techniques also been employed. Data collected through Focus Group
Discussion and well structured interview schedule. Sap based products viz., Palm gur, Jaggery,
Neera, Sugar Candy and Fruit based products viz.,Palmyrah Paanam (Soft drink) Jam prepared
from neera were the products in the study prepared by the sample. According to the training
need three-fourth of the respondents were interested to undergo trainings on Preparation of
Palmyrah tubers like Boiled Palm flour and Dried Raw Tuber Flour and more than half were
on Preservation of Palm gur and Palm jaggery and Palm sugar candy so that to fetch more
price.

entrepreneurial behavior and entrepreneurial potential.
Goldman model has also suggested four major EI domains such as Self Awareness, Self –
Management, Social Awareness and Relational Skills. To achieve high organizational goals and
fulfilling the expectations of the stakeholders in the 21st century, the intentional skills for enhancement
of emotional intelligence in entrepreneurship is highly required.
The primary difference between one’s successful organization and the other’s derailment is emotional
intelligence. In each situation, emotional arousal offers two possible outcomes: Success = Being aware
of your emotions and managing them so your behaviors are intelligently and proactively driven,
resulting in intentional and successful outcomes. Derailment = Losing control of your emotions so your
behaviors are impulsively and reactively driven, resulting in unintended and potentially costly
outcomes.
The results shed light on certain areas that need to be taken into consideration when aiming at

Work-life balance signifies the extent to which an employee experiences feeling fulfilled and having his
or her needs met in both work and non-work facets of life. Through experiencing greater work-life
balance, individuals report feeling better in general and tend to behave in favorable ways. Historically,
the influx of women in the workplace jumpstarted research into how female employees could
successfully care for families while working, but today work-life balance is discussed with respect to
multiple affected groups. In the modern era of technology and convenience, organizations have begun to
provide their employees with helpful ways to balance their work and non-work roles through benefits
like flexible work hours, telecommuting, and so on. However, offering these benefits is not enough; the
organization and management stand behind its promotion of healthy work-life balance for employees by
creating a culture as such and designing policies that support this initiative. Otherwise, employees feel
pressure to continuously work, which can be perpetuated by mobile devices and constant accessibility of
the internet that allows employees to transport a workstation wherever they go. Results indicate that in

consideration in decision-making. While some businesses have corporate social responsibility (CSR)
programmes and some investors follow policies around ethical investing—avoiding sectors such as

these policies has been ad hoc and inconsistent.
However, times are changing. Globally, an ethical and long-term sustainable investing strategy is

Family managed business plays vital role in the economy across all countries. The major factor
is that the family managed business generates world’s half of the work force in turn to the contribution

business. It is also estimated that women entrepreneurs comprise of around 25% of the total
entrepreneurs in India which growing by every year. The research carried on women in family managed

Strategies of Private and Public banks are different that leads variation in the customers. This paper tries
to measure for availability of product and services provide to Public and Private sector banks and factors
responsible for variation in customers satisfaction. The objective of the research is to get the availability
level, variations in satisfaction level and reasons responsible for variations in satisfaction level or
dissatisfaction in public and private sector banks. This research is based on primary information’s
obtained from customers of Public and Private sectors banks in Salem district. Overall, Customers of
Private and Public sector banks are satisfied except some behavioral factors of the banks customers. So,
there are need to consider tangibles and behavioral factors of the customers to enhance the level of

Every individual is exclusive in their talent, understanding, performance, attitude,
competency, and participation and so on. People experience stress in personal life and at work
place. The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationship between emotional
intelligence and perceived stress in the workplace and health-related consequences in police
department. The emotional intelligence has gain wide recognition in the domain of psychological
research in the recent years. There is an increasing realization that the emotions and their
management play an important role in personal as well as professional life of the police officers.
The emotional intelligence may be described as a set of interrelated abilities for identifying,
understanding and managing emotions both in the self and in others. It is important for police
organization. A type of emotional information processing that includes accurate appraisal of
emotions in oneself and others, appropriate expression of emotions and adaptive regulation of
emotions in such a way as to enhance their living. Physical strains may result from the
physiological components of experienced emotions that can adversely affect the health of the
police officers. Some researchers suggest that emotional intelligence can be learn and strengthen;
while other claims it is an in born quality. It is an important factor in determining life success
and psychological well-being of the police department. In the present study has been analyzed.
There are 399 Police stations are in Tamil Nadu and 50 Police stations are available in Salem
district. For this study purpose 125 samples were collected among Police department in Salem
District.

The Chi-square test was used to test the four hypotheses raised in the study. The analysis
reveals that majority of the police officers feel higher in stress among the Police department due
to lack of rest, more working hours, lack of time to spend with their family. In conclusion,
Emotional Intelligence shows much promise in the police force and the worthy of further
research. If the division of work, an appropriate rest time are takes place the stress level may
reduce among the police department.

investigation of the topic in focus, by in-depth interviews with the tribal volunteers and local community
members, focus group discussions with the stakeholders to understand the tribal economy and the
influential factors assisting their development. It is found that PTVGs are possessing very low level of
entrepreneurial traits which stops them to enter in an entrepreneurial venture. It is suggested to enhance
the entrepreneurial capacity among the tribal groups by developing a social marketing intervention
focusing on multi-pronged / multi stage approach.

A Study on Effectiveness of Government Scheme among Scheduled Tribe People Trichy District
The Scheduled Tribes and other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Rights) Act (more
commonly referred to as the Forest Rights Act or FRA) was enacted in 2006. Basically the law concerns
the rights of forest dwelling communities to land and other sources. Ramaiah (1977, pp. 17-37) found
that in the post independence era, the government has spent Cores of money for the welfare and
development of the tribe’s. Promotion of tribal education has been receiving top most priority and
attention to the government. On the basis of information collect, a well planned pre tested questionnaire
was prepared and interview schedule has drafted and pilot study was conducted. For the purpose of
primary data collection questionnaires are prepared and collect the samples from scheduled tribe people
among the trichy district. Randomly 120 scheduled tribes samples taken from the primary data
collection. 'Stratified Random Sampling' is used for this study. Trichy District consists of Total sample
used for this 120 scheduled tribe people have been selected from each to simple random basis. SPSS
used for statistical analysis and statistical tools are The chi-square statistic is commonly used for testing
relationship between categorical variables.The objective of discriminate analysis is to split a population
into two separate groups. The maximum of people based on agricultural related works. Next to
agriculture and traditional occupation they have now become gatherers. Their rights on forest and their
present with nature are to be relooked as they have been traditionally protecting and conserving the
forest resource for sustainable use for the people.

Venture Capital is money provided by professionals who invest and manage young rapidly
increasing companies that have the probable to develop into significant economic contributors. The
Government of India in an attempt to bring the nation at par and above the developed nations has
been promoting venture capital financing to new, innovative concepts & ideas. Venture Capitalists
in India are biased toward technology companies with 68.0% of investments made in this sector.
Other sectors include healthcare and education accounting for 9.0% and 7.0% of total investments
respectively.
The VC industry in India has had a somewhat frustrating run. With too much money
chasing too few deals, Indian venture capital is struggling. Venture Capital firms invested over 206
deals in India during 2014, registering a fall of about 18 percent over the corresponding period a
year ago. Of the 184 exits in the Industry, the technology sector accounted for about 137 of them.
This study would be an exploratory study. Venture Capital Investments in various sectors like Real
Estate, Telecom, InfoTech, Media, Biotech and Pharmacy will also be compared. VC growth in top

is taking initiative, particularly millet products are packed and making it attractive for the people to
purchase and because of this the value of the millet products is increased.Consumer awareness is
the process of making the consumer conscious about the particular product or services that are
available in the society.Millets are small seeded with different varieties such as pearl millet, finger
millet, Kodo millet, proso millet, foxtail millet, little millet, and barnyard millet. Millet grains are
usually milled by a non-notarized grain mill that cranks by hand or another nonelectric method,
especially in rural areas for household uses. Today, more consumers are aware about the
millet products, but the usage of it is low because it is not highly available and the price of the
millet products is high. As the farmers are the hard workers the millet foods are the highly
consumed by them. Effects of milling on the nutritional contents of millet grains and their milling
fractions have been studied by a number of researchers.The study is an empirical analysis designed
to measure the awareness level about millet products among households, with a sample of 100
Households. In the study it is found that the awareness level is high in both rural and urban areas.
But the rural people are consuming millets. In larger quality than the urban people. Factors like non
availability, high price, lack of preparation time, lack of preparation knowledge are majority

The current agricultural crisis and the farmers situation in the era of globalization,
increasing capitalization of agriculture, chemical intensive and bio-technology oriented farming
and implications of soil and water degradation or depletion for farmers livelihoods. Food is our
most basic need, the very stuff of life. 75 percent of the Indian population derives its livelihood
from agriculture, and every fourth farmer in the world is an Indian, the impact of globalization on
Indian agriculture is of global significance. Small and marginal farmers are pushed to extinction, as
monoculture replace biodiversity crops, as farming is transformed from the production of
nourishing and diverse foods into the creation of markets for seed company products, as farmers are

Agriculture is the most important livelihood strategy in India, with two thirds of the country’s

A descriptive study was done on primary data collected from 100 respondents on basis of

Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) are the leading causes of death globally, killing more
people each year than all other causes combined. Nearly 80% of NCD deaths occur in low- and
middle-income countries. NCDs are caused, to a large extent, by four behavioural risk factors that
are pervasive aspects of economic transition, rapid urbanization and 21st century lifestyles:
tobacco use, unhealthy diet, insufficient physical activity and the harmful use of alcohol. Improved
health care management, early detection and timely treatment are another effective approach for
reducing the impact of NCDs. Many NCD-related health-care interventions are cost effective,
especially compared to costly procedures that may be necessary when detection and treatment are
late and the patient reaches advanced stages of the disease. Health systems need to be further
strengthened to deliver an effective, realistic and affordable package of interventions and services
for people with NCDs. NCDs contribute to around 5.87 million deaths that account for 60 % of all
deaths in India. In this study, an attempt is made to analyze the prevention and control of NCD in
India. In summary, effectively preventing and controlling NCDs requires engaging actors and
partners from various sectors who hold different agendas and reach different populations and
communities. NCDs have potentially serious socioeconomic consequences, through increasing
individual and household impoverishment and hindering social and economic development.

Customized and congruent talent management strategies are the yardstick for the stable and

management practices rewards the employees for their unique set of skills, capabilities and
technical know-how provided by their employees. The talent management prejudices the
employees to have increased employee value proposition (EVP). An increasing quotient of
employee value proposition curtails the continuous dissatisfaction of the employees and upgrades
the intention to stay. The researcher ascertains the impact of talent management interventions on

Abstract
Stories of successful startups are making headlines on daily newspapers! The government has
recognized the importance of entrepreneurship and launched the programs like the Start-up India
and Make in India with an aim to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit. It is the best time than ever
before to start a business in India and to be a successful entrepreneur because these programs have
also opened the doors to countless opportunities for startups. All in all, currently, India has a
blooming startup ecosystem, but still entrepreneurship is a big challenge for many innovative minds
as there are countless exceptional challenges that cannot be ignored. Indeed, there are great steps

Abstract :
National level production of livestock and livestock products in india has increased over the
years even though many households involved in livestock production have continued to be poor
and food insecure. It is perceived that poor performance of dairy businesses is stemming from poor
business growth caused by certain business related factors. Consequently, a study was conducted to
establish factors influencing business growth of smallholder dairy farming enterprises in Salem
District of sankari taluk, Tamilnadu.The study established that business management skills
influence growth of diary enterprises and that interaction with extension service providers
positively impacted on the earnings of the dairy farmers. Further it was established that the size of
the dairy businesses are not directly related to age of the enterprises implying stagnation of the
older enterprises as it is not consistent with growth model of business enterprises .The objectives of
the study were to establish the influence of farmer’s business management skills, and extension
support services on the growth of dairy farming business.

Comparative Analysis of Selected Stocks in Bse-100 Companies and Bse-100 Index by Using
Technical and Fundamental Analysis
ABSTRACT
The paper titled “a study on comparativie analysis on selected stocks in BSE100 companies
with the BSE100 INDEX”. The main objectives of this research are to analyse the performance of
the various sectors and financial performance of industries is based on tools like return, Beta,
Relative Strength Index (RSI), Simple Moving Average etc. Further the study is based on 5
different sectors. Reports of the top five industries listed in BSE 100 are ACC LTD, AURO
PHARMA, BAJAJ AUTO, HDFC LTD, & JSW STEEL. The purpose of the study is to analyze
and compare the performances of the BSE 100 companies with BSE 100 INDEX. The top five
Sectors in India for the study used only,all the analysis and findings based on the data that are
availed from the BSE website. So majority of the data has been used in this study is secondary in
nature. In this research, no primary data have been involved. The data were collected from capital
line database. Period of studying the data analysis and interpretation are reviewed for period from
2017 to 2018. The tools which have been used in this study to analyze the profitability are mainly
the different Technical and fundamental tools and that are capable to find out the best decision to
the investor. And the other tools are simple line charts. The analysis directed the researcher towards
the objectives of the study and could be able to find the problems that are facing by the investors
regarding selecting the best stock for investment. The main findings are, there is a huge difference
in standard deviation of stock and standard deviation market for every stock, ACC Cement is not a
good option for the investors who is very aggressive in nature because most of the time Beta value

(1.7%), The beta value of Auropharma shows that it have very volatility in market so it is very high
risk to the investors because the share price have more volatility than the market and there is better
chance for making good profit, Bajaj-auto showing a moderate market volatility for the year,
HDFC is giving a negative average return to the investor for the financial year 2017-2018, the RSI
of JSW Steel was above 70 which indicate the sell signal to the investor.

Indian automobile industry is going through a technological change where each firm is
engaged in changing its processes and technologies to sustain the competitive advantage and
provide customers with the optimized products and services. Technical analysis is mainly based on
three assumptions namely, market discounts everything, price moves in trends, and history tends to
repeat itself. It is mainly concerned with the study of historical price movements of the stocks and
its volume of trade in the market to predict the future trend movements of the stocks. However, it
does not consider any fundamental factors of the company like earnings, dividends, growth rates
etc. The present study has been undertaken to examine how technical analysis useful to take buy or
sell decisions of stock and to know how technical tools are used to predict the future behaviour of
the stock. The study helps people to get an idea on investment on right stock.

Regression Analysis have been used. The results revealed that interest rate and inflation rate, has
significant impact on the market price of share. Inflation rate being the strongest determinants of
market price and it is having inverse relationship with the share price movement. From the study, it
is evidently understood that macroeconomic determinantspossess strong explanatory power and
hence, can be used to make accurate future forecasts of stock prices. So, investors are suggested to
take care of accounting variables of company before investing.

Employees are the backbone of any organization. They are the most precious and
important asset among all the assets of any organization. Job satisfaction is a part of employee
life satisfaction. So the employee job satisfaction becomes one of the top priority issues in the
banking industry. Therefore, the study aims to identify the level of job satisfaction of banking
employees’ in private sector banks in cuddalore District. All employees who are working in
either private banks in cuddalore District were the population of the study and out of them 258
employees were selected as sample of the study based on stratified sampling technique. Data
were processed through number of rigorous analysis to derive a robust conclusion. The findings
of the study indicated higher level of job satisfaction in private sector employees. Further study
regression result highlighted statistically significant impact of work itself, salary, job security
and recognition on employee job satisfaction in baking sector cuddalore , however possibility of

specified for Category I AIFs. eg. Private Equity or debt fund. Private Equity generally finance

Abstract: Social media is a new phenomenon that has changed the business environment
operates. Businesses are able to gain access to resources through social media. Nowadays social
media has helped businesses to increase their worthiness, cultivate strategic partnerships and
increase their contact with customers and suppliers. It has become an inevitable part of business
owners and marketers to understand how social media work as a communication and marketing
tool and how they can significantly grow their businesses. The study shows that social media
tools offer greater market accessibility and CRM which in turn have a significant impact on the
growth of entrepreneurs. It revealed that geographical barriers can be broken down by the use of
social media tools. Additionally, social media allows businesses to communicate speedily and
cheaply with customers as well as allow them to construct a database that can be used to generate
business leads that may translate to increased sales and thus helps in the growth of entrepreneurs
The study recommends that policy makers such as the government should be keen on the current
trends of technological adoption like the issues of copyright and privacy should also be
addressed, and training of social media and provision of business solutions that would bridge the

Abstract
This study was conducted with the objectives of identifying stakeholders‘ satisfaction on
competencies and identified skills of their trainee undergraduates. Findings reveal that the
trainers were highly satisfied with the punctuality, responsibility, commitment and attitudes
towards work of their trainees. Also they were fairly satisfied with oral and written
communication skills and decision making abilities. However, they have emphasized on several
areas that need improvement, such as advanced writing skills, ability to use of e-mail and
internet facilities, decision making and analytical skills.

Abstract
A smartphone is an ultimate need for each and every human being as it helps people to connect
with each other and keep them busy by browsing websites, watching movies, listening to music,
playing games, learning through applications and he/she can check their emails while traveling
and can work from anywhere. There are huge numbers of smartphones, in various brands and
people can choose their favorite brand from the pool of brands. Earlier, cell phones were used
only to make voice calls and send text messages, but the scenario has changed now; the currently
available smartphones can connect to the internet/Wi-Fi and people can update the daily news,
emails, music, games and fun filled entertainment through various applications. The main
objective of this paper is to analyze the factors influencing smartphone purchase behavior among
management students in Salem city. Research design is descriptive design and sampling
technique adopted in this study is Convenience sampling. The sample size for this study is 100
Management students from various colleges in Salem city. Descriptive analysis and Factor
analysis has been employed to analyze the data using Statistical Package tools. The major
finding of this study is brand advertisements, promotions and suggestions by friends and
relatives and impact of social media are the factors which influence the students to purchase
smartphones.

The purpose of this study is to know the Emotional intelligent and leadership effectiveness
among IT employees. The study has been conducted in Chennai. The objective is to study on the
level of self-awareness, self-management, relationship management, empathy and effective
communication and suggest some improvements that can helpful for the development of the IT
Employees. A Sample size of 150 respondents was drawn from a population of 300 employees.
A random sampling system was adopted and applied in the firm. Analysis is done on various
perspective such as workers perceptions, expectation of the workers opinion. A survey was done

key informants and individuals. Based on the research hypotheses, the researcher established a
significant relationship between Emotional intelligent and leadership effectiveness.

Abstract
The MSME sector in Tamilnadu is highly heterogeneous in terms of the size of the
enterprises, variety of products and services, and levels of technology. The sector not only plays
a critical role in providing employment opportunities at comparatively lower capital cost than
large industries but also helps in industrialization of rural and backward areas, reducing regional
imbalances and assuring more equitable distribution of national income and wealth. The MSMEs
complement large industries as ancillary units and contribute enormously to the socio-economic
development of the country. The MSMEs are a very heterogeneous group of businesses usually
operating in the manufacturing, trade, agri-business, and service sectors. They include a wide
variety of firms such as village handicraft makers, small machine shops, computer software firms
and so on that possess a wide range of sophistication and skills. Some are dynamic, innovative,
and growth-oriented while others are satisfied to remain small and perhaps family owned. It
usually operates in the formal sector of the economy and employs mainly wage-earning workers.
It is often classified by the number of employees or by the value of their assets. The present
study aimed to understand the role of MSME in the promotion of entrepreneurship in Tamilnadu.

leaving a gap for the current study to concentrate in women entrepreneurs. Studies on women
entrepreneurship have witness a rapid growth over the past 30 years. First is to examine the

India as a country with high agricultural base emerging as a fast developing economy.
After the IT revolution and monsoon failures, modernization of lifestyle and shortage of basic
food products are happening side by side. As like many developed countries, the management
education in India is booming at a higher rate producing thousands of management graduates for
managing industrial demand. Some of the business schools are having a special focus towards
tuning the management students towards entrepreneurship ventures, rather than corporate
placements. With increasing state and central government support in financial and channelizing
entrepreneurs, the new generation entrepreneurs are started emerging. This research focuses on
understanding the readiness of management graduates towards the agriculturally based
entrepreneurship like direct modern farming, manufacturing agricultural equipment, consulting
services to farmers etc. From the village based Sivagangai district in Tamil Nadu, 164 passing
out management graduates directly from the business schools are chosen using a simplified
random sampling method.

country's residents. A country's balance of payments tells you whether it saves enough to pay for
its imports. It also reveals whether the country produces enough economic output to pay for its
growth. The BOP is reported for a quarter or a year. In this paper we are going to have a detail
study on Balance of Payments, its components and deficit versus surplus. These transactions
consist of imports and exports of goods, services and capital, as well as transfer payments such

risk taking personalities. The women entrepreneurs have their own identity in the world of
entrepreneurship. Most of them are capable of fully identifying themselves in their new
economic role in society. In this research, stratified sampling technique was used. A detailed
questionnaire bringing out the various aspects of the study was first prepared and tested. In this
research, 60 successful women entrepreneurs were interviewed. The sample was selected from
two towns, Trichy and Thanjavur. The sample selection was as under: Trichy – 60% and
Thanjavur – 40% This break up was due to the fact that there was a greated concentration of
available successful women entrepreneurs in Trichy when compared to Thanjavur. The study has
highlighted many factors that have motivated women entrepreneurs in starting an entrepreneurial
career. Success has been seen mostly among the mid thirty and early forty age group. The
government schemes, incentives and subsidies have stimulated and provided support measures to
women entrepreneurs in and around the city. In this research, one of the findings was that while
a majority of women came from a family business as a core background and they were mostly
married to business families. The business environment seems to have prepared them mentally,
thereby facilitating their entry into business. Help and guidance was also available within the
family in case of any business problems.
